Exhausting. Depressing.
I only live here and it is utterly depressing to see what this administration is doing to this country.

America first? How exactly? The whole country is built on immigration and international relationships. This administration's isolationism is absolutely destroying the place.

I try not to frankly. People who do seem to drive themselves crazy.
Not sure if this can be blamed on the people who are just trying to get on with their life. Like when Johnson was in charge here, you didn’t want to watch it but you had to to find out what nonesense was coming next.

Not blaming it on them, I just think trying to keep up with everything takes them in an unhealthy direction. Focusing on policy that affects you is one thing but stuff like the plaques, the Kennedy Center, etc. is really just noise. All that stuff is going in the trash one day.

I hope so, but the uncertainty is killing me.

Completely agree.

I think it’s making lots of us over here utterly depressed and feeling thoroughly defenceless.
Can’t imagine how it must feel to live there on a daily basis.
Miserable. Seeing the ugly side of humanity and the cowardly side of humanity on every news page every single day. Day to day living you can ignore it but the worry and fear never goes away so your choice is to become numb to it or fight it which is precisely how authoritarian regimes work. If you disengage you don’t interfere with their plans and if you try to fight it they use state-sponsored force to crush it. I feel hopeless.

The regime has clearly broken the Epstein Transparency Act with their partial release of Epstein files and heavy redaction. They have released one document, for example, with the title followed by 95 completely blacked out pages.
The DoJ will have to indict Bondi and others. Trumps immunity will see him ok. I look forward to Alina Habba prosecuting.
Total lunacy now. YCNMIU.
