I think the proven xenophobia, racism and mysoginy of Trump should be enough to put anyone off. The paedophilia allegations are not as clear cut but his recorded comments to teens and small children are fairly creepy.
As for Hillary, it seems that she's had that much shit thrown at her that some of it has stuck in most people's minds. She's probably done and said things that would put many people off but she's not in the same league as Trump when it comes to lying, hypocrisy and general stupidity.
It's a shit choice for the yanks but seriously how can anyone with a brain even consider Trump?

I posted a few pages back referencing celebrity culture. All that stuff is on the surface - bad or good, it's not relevant to the job at hand (unless Trump plans to get sex abuse laws wiped and pardon any sex offender mates; the xenophobic stuff is when you consider it's implications in things such as foreign relations with China, but I don't think it'd prove a major issue with other people to represent the US on the world stage too). They're both bad on the surface, if your just looking at the personality they present, Trump comes out far worse, but there is enough to weigh up underneath all that to suggest what their Presidency would likely actually bring.

The problem, of course, is that it is a game of Whack-a-Mole. Even if she bats away one, another pops right up in its place, which is why I pointed out the political mantra of if you are explaining/defending, then you are losing. This is why Republicans simply give a one sentence answer, dismiss it out of hand, and move on. Sadly, thoughtful people and liberals feel the need to explain the what, whys and wherefores of every accusation....and here I am as living proof! ;-)

Additionally, one always seems to assume that Wiki is Switzerland when it comes to these issues...as in neutral and just sharing all the unvarnished truth. As has been explained already, most people believe that is NOT the case, in this instance especially.

So, in short, the issue is covered...it came from Wiki...they have an agenda. Conversely, it came from an adulterated source either to Wiki, or under the guise of Wiki. In addition, there are THOUSANDS of emails etc, being released en masse, which means no one really knows everything in every one of them, or is willing to speak to each indivdually just through sheer logistics!

I voted early. I voted straight Democrat for the Presidency, Congress and my state races, while being slightly more varied in the over races. For instance, I voted Green Party for my Water District, because they are more interested in clean & green than anyone else...and that's how I like my water: clean! So, this is purely an academic exercise for me at this point, but I've enjoyed the discussion.

Now, three points tomorrow is of distinctly greater concern to me right now!

Yeah, didn't bear in mind stuff like that will be at play, but I watched the first 2 debates and she would have done herself a massive favour to just say all of the leaks are falsified rather than deflecting it onto Russia which didn't do her any favours (maybe she worried Wikileaks would go on to prove her otherwise). Most people probably do believe that is the case, but that's fed by negative publicity. Their founder/leader is holed up in an Ecuadorian embassy, that would do enough for most people to assume they're dodgy. Yep, I'm going to have to give this a break now after a long day of work, I'm struggling to keep up ha.

I would agree that the whole "It's the Russians!" might sound dodgy, except for the fact that SHE didn't bring it up, it was the Security Services who said that the hacking that was being done had been tracked to a specific building in Russia that is also known to be a Russian cybercrime building!!! She brought it up because THEY confirmed it, as opposed to it being a distractor. Indeed, only since this was uncovered, has her campaign refused to discuss the supposed leaked emails, because no one knows what is a real email and what isn't...to include an email by another politician ABOUT CLINTON that has been PROVEN to be a fake.

The fucking Ruskies are knee deep in deception and distraction in this election, which makes you seriously wonder if Trump's cozying up to Putin is only about the deals he has with some of Putin's oligarch buddies, the money he owes to Russian billionaires, or Trump's admiration of his dictatorial powers that enable him to do whatever he pleases.

I'll be glad when it is over, as long as Hillary is elected President!!! ;-)

There is no such thing as a politician who has never told a lie but to equate one who Politifact estimates lies over 70% of the time to one that does 12% of the time is ignorant and dangerous. We are a few days away from a dangerous narcissist who is fueled only by greed and revenge from having command of the most powerful arsenal in the history of time. The Russians are doing everything they can to get him elected to crash our whole system. The best case scenario if he wins is that world markets crash, NATO dissolves and Russia gets carte blanche to do whatever the fuck they want all over the world. The worst case scenario, which is also very possible because he talks about it all the time, is nuclear war which will kill millions and make the holocaust look like a minor event.

Stop pretending that sending emails from a private server is just as bad as somebody who grabs women by the pussy against their will, scams people with a fake university, settled a case out of court where he was being sued for denying housing to minorities, is accused of sexually assaulting twelve women, lost a billion dollars in a year, doesn't pay taxes, wants to fuck his daughter, body shames women, stiffs thousands of contractors who worked for him, has gone bankrupt four times, is in favor of our military committing war crimes, runs a fake charity that he uses to buy 6' paintings of himself, denied healthcare to his nephew with cerebral palsy when his father died to get a larger inheritance, calls for Russia to hack his political opponents, is about to go to court for raping a 13-year-old girl, calls for his political opponent to be assassinated and doesn't understand why it's not okay to use nuclear weapons.

There is a difference there, I hope that you can see it. You don't have to be perfect to be better than Donald Trump, you just have to not be a vile, disgusting human.

She sold the weapons to the Saudis that are now in the hands of ISIS while the same governments place money into her foundation. She is one of the main causes for what is happening in Syria right now. Another email shows that the US government are manipulating oil prices in ISIS affected regions for the own gain.
With the amount of people who have innocently lost their lives or have been displaced by the largest refugee crisis, not only in Syria, the Americans shouldn't want her locked up they should want her hung.
