Vaccination Passport | Fans will be denied entry without valid NHS pass

Wearing a mask is not a hard job , wish people would stop making out it is like wearing a tight gimp mask or something ( not you )
If I had to wear a mask at a match, I would stay at home and watch on TV. My glasses steam up with a mask and I wouldn't see much without them.

I'll give it until this weekends fixtures are over, then football is getting suspended. Five matches already cancelled and I'm just waiting until Pep's press conference tomorrow for him to say we've now got several cases. The show can't go on

I was completely in favour of passports. Anything to get those refusers to get jabbed but this is probably not the way to do it. Just had a phone call with a good friend I go cycling with - he has had to isolate for 10 days, just finished today, triple stabbed and no symptoms, he had been in close contact with a case, but he had tested positive. If this had been a football match he could have gone if he hadn’t bothered testing passing it on to others. Shirley a better idea is a proof of lateral flow test.

You HAVE to wear a mask entering the ground and on the concourse unless your eating/drinking.

It's not compulsory to wear one at your seat but the club are encouraging it

bought tickets and travel for the arsenal away game but this game will probably be behind closed doors. absolutely gutted

I am happy to wear a mask on the way into and out of the stadium. But if I have to wear one while watching, there is no point in me being there.

What’s the crack with filling some form in ? as well as showing your covid passport or lateral flow test..
You can access the form via an email City will send you. It's just simply clicking a few boxes and sending it back. You only have to do it once for home games.

They didn't really make it clear what exactly it is, I initially thought they could tie it to your tickets and you'd need ID etc in a similar theme to how they've asked for ID with tickets at a few European away games.

However it's not that, it's basically just a terms and conditions box ticking exercise, agreeing to the new covid rules, you'll get an email before the next game you're due to attend, takes 30 seconds to tick a few boxes and send it back

Haven’t read the last 40 pages but good luck to the match stewards outside the ground. Paid to pat people down and now expected to turn people away who have paid for a ticket. Don’t envy them

If as fans we have to comply to these “regulations“, shouldn’t we expect all clubs to do the same? I mean all staff, playing or non playing are vaccinated to the level where they can get a pass. Otherwise, fans are being unfairly treated.
Fans are always bottom of the pile when it comes to football. Without us the game would be a big steaming pile of shite but clubs and authorities treat us like cattle or even worse, criminals.

LFT before the game. Confirms you don't have covid. Enter the ground. End of.

Vaccinated but no LFT. No conformation you don't have covid but can enter the ground.

So, the issue here isn't stopping people who have covid. It's setting the precedent for a covid passport.

But if the covid passport doesn't prevent the spread. And the reason for it is to stop the spread. Then there's another reason here.

Vaccination passports. Enforced through fear and a complete lack of logic. So why? If not to stop the spread because it doesn't. Then why?

Nothing stops the spread, it is about reducing it by a few standard deviations. We had the same with crash helmets and seat belts.
