Van Persie

I don't really care how good he is, his demeanor and attitude suits them nobheads to the ground. I wouldn't have the Tranny here either based on the same reasoning.

Mmmm. RVP wanted to go to United and you are complaining at City fans who didn't want him?

He was always a MANUre fan from being a little boy in Holland, testament to which was his JVC shirt and pictures of Ian Wright on his bedroom wall. I was one who didn't want the fucker anywhere near the club. He's a snivelling little shit who belongs in a snivelling little shit of a club! And if that means 40 goals this season so MANUre fans can get to use those '20' t-shirts they printed last season, so be it! Rooney's another shite I wouldn't want near my club. I posed the question to my renegade Evertonian son by asking what he would do if Suarez came to Goodison - time to stop supporting football he says! Same for me!
RVP wasn't a United fan at all when he was younger. I posted a video of a young Van Persie in another topic yesterday (check my post history) and he says that it's his ambition to play for Arsenal or Barcelona. He said that 12 years ago when he was 17. He's not a fan of these clubs either but purely a sporting dream.

Van Persie is a huge supporter of Excelsior in The Netherlands. That club has also named a stand after him. He's probably going to end his career there. That club is currently 17th in the Jupiler League (Dutch Championship).

You're son isn't called Tom by any chance is he?

Nah, he's a Ben! He was more annoyed than me, mind, when the Dutch Cheese scored in the 99th min! EFC and the Gwladys first, The Etihad second!

Lol

I still wouldn't want him now, hes a fucking wanker. It was just fucking imperative he didn't go to the rags, which he did and this season he'll probably be the main contributor if they win the league. But it doesn't change the fact he is a short term fix that will give them 1 or 2 more seasons injury-free at the most. Imagine if they signed a young dynamic Argentinian who is only 24 yet bangs in 30 a season ? Then I'd be worried.
