On a similar theme - should it be:

My-ca Richards or
Mick-a Richards?

I thought it was My-ca but hear lots of variations at the game (although granted it is in the CB!)

There's a difference between correct pronunciation and adopting an accent. I'd rather hear a player's name pronounced correctly rather than getting butchered.

Its like Nedhume Hon- Hou Haa. Van-sont is how the commentator thinks it should sound. The Belgium's are probably laughing there b*ll*x off.

Those francophone Belgians laughing their tits off at the correct pronunciation of a Belgian player's name? Probably.
