The cnuts and apologists just keep saying with VAR they are still getting used to it and teething problems, tonight’s was as bad as I’ve seen yet you can bet come Saturday and Sunday there’ll be one or two pens and we’ll be saying what the fuck was that given for, only conclusion is corruption and betting purposes..

so if the var team looked at that and gave the penalty would you agree it’s good we have a system in place to get the correct decision ? Because the ref didn’t view it as a penalty.

we can scrap var. I’m really not fussed anymore.
but it’s a joke that even more decisions like that would not be given as a penalty.

Refs on the pitch on their own simply can not give clear and correct decisions and it’s farcical. And when var don’t even give a correct decision. It’s even more farcical.

as I’ve said from day 1. I would like a system in place to help Refs get clear decisions correct. I think that’s what most people would want

But the VAR team DID look at it and deemed it no penalty..

Why's that do you think ? Genuine mistake ?

It's a tool that can be used to manipulate results to keep certain teams relevent..

You come on a rivals football forum and constantly defend the indefensible with your 'what ifs', 'gets it right now and again', 'better than what we had before' crap..

We have been fucked over by VAR yet again when the score was 1-1..

We scored 2 quick goals and took the decision out of the referee's and VAR's hands..

If we'd gone in at HT at 1-1, we wouldn't have won the game 100% because we wouldn't have been allowed to..
here we go. Every decision someone at VAR gives wrong I have to come on and explain ?

If we don’t have VAR would I say your an apologist for every comical ref decision that is made ?

there’s no defending that decision. It’s a penalty no question. The official (not VAR) that said it wasn’t should explain why.
Fuck me, you've got a high opinion of yourself..

Why didnt he go the the pitch side monitor ?
Presumably he was not asked to because the VAR studied the video and concluded that it was clearly not a penalty. It suggests the VAR did not even think it was worthy of the referee looking at the monitor. The VAR watched the foul and decided with absolute certainty that it was not a penalty. The only reason for this is corruption.

The VAR cheated. There can be no other explanation.

You do know someone posted ‘let’s see apologist hammer explain that then bla bla ‘

hence why I said ‘here we go, do I have to explain every bad VAR decision’

There’s no need to be so aggressive. It’s a forum with lots of different views.

I was as perplexed and angry with that decision and I don’t even support City. Its farcical and I’m annoyed as I want a system in place that gets these decisions correct (which it has done on many occasions) because I don’t want penalty’s like that not given which without VAR would have not been given anyway.

As I said. I’d like to hear from the var official who saw that and deemed it not a pen and give an explanation.

I want VAR to work correctly. That is all. It’s not an outrageous opinion.
before without var we was still getting farcical decisions, like we would have done tonight with the ref not giving the penalty.

I keep hearing about all these correct decisions but the catalogue of wrong ones is mounting up now. 3 penalties in one game tonight. All wrongly called

Your desire for VAR to improve is admirable but there is no evidence that it will because of the human beings implicitly involved in it.

Withdraw it, improve it, test it, reintroduce it.

will never happen tho....

If you have a backup designed to correct human errors, and your backup doesn't correct the errors, your backup is a bit shit and shouldn't be defended imo.
