Manipulation for certain outcomes is the only reason I can think of why ours aren't Microphoned up. Surely Sky/BT/Amazon would love that extra bit of info for their broadcasts as well?

Maybe our refs aren't bent, just stupid and act like old gossipers when they give their mate on the pitch a reason to look at VAR. All they need to do then is be reminded that they are on national TV whilst they reach the decision; Then we can all see why the decisions were made and understand them correctly.

Some refs make ridiculous decisions with or without VAR. It’s too easy to label corruption every time.

Mike Dean fucked up sending Souchek off. But where is the corruption in sending one of our players off in the last minute of a game ? He fucked up even with a replay of the incident.

Lingard scored a great goal against spurs. The lino flagged it off. Where is the corruption shout at the lino ?

Unfortunately it's the correct call according to the IFAB, they've really dug themselves into a hole with this one.
 
Only just seen the Kante handball incident v Liverpool, in the current climate and handball rule why was that not a penalty?
Not at all bothered but it’s another example of inconsistency and actually no idea what is the law this season.
 
Handball rule changed for accidental handball leading to a goal or goal scoring chance...now change the offside to if either foot is onside then the player is onside. Not difficult Collina.

And presumably if the tv companies agree to this all the fan will hear (on the tele - fuck all if at the match) is 'Jesus was offside' or... 'VAR have confirmed that Bruno was onside'

Nah, he's the worst by a long, long way. I'm not even taking the piss anymore about his eyesight, I've seen him give a throw in clearly to the wrong team from 5 yards away and minutes later give the opposition team a corner when their striker hit one about 10 yards wide without any chance of a deflection, yet again from a short distance away with no obstruction to his line of sight. I'd love to see the VAR stats and see how many decisions he's had overturned compared to others.

Disagree. He’s poor, but many worse, Taylor, Mason, Friend, Moss, Pawson, Dean.... ok ill stop now. They’re all terrible...
