The absolute state of that Spurs handball decision. Fucking appaling stuff. Fulham fighting for their survival and they get a decision like that against them. Ludicrous.
Suspect VAR decisions, including your own team, have been made this season.
Manipulation for certain outcomes is the only reason I can think of why ours aren't Microphoned up. Surely Sky/BT/Amazon would love that extra bit of info for their broadcasts as well?
Maybe our refs aren't bent, just stupid and act like old gossipers when they give their mate on the pitch a reason to look at VAR. All they need to do then is be reminded that they are on national TV whilst they reach the decision; Then we can all see why the decisions were made and understand them correctly.
Unfortunately it's the correct call according to the IFAB, they've really dug themselves into a hole with this one.The absolute state of that Spurs handball decision. Fucking appaling stuff. Fulham fighting for their survival and they get a decision like that against them. Ludicrous.
And presumably if the tv companies agree to this all the fan will hear (on the tele - fuck all if at the match) is 'Jesus was offside' or... 'VAR have confirmed that Bruno was onside'VAR: Lawmakers ‘happy’ to drop offside lines if broadcasters do the same
Football’s lawmakers say they would be “happy” for VARs to stop using lines to make marginal offside calls – if television companies were prepared to do the same.www.sportinglife.com
They can drop the lines from TV broadcasts today, but can't let us listen to the match day communication they've already had in place for years.
What a load of shit.
Easily solved by getting rid of Marriner, couldn't referee a darts matchRef would have awarded Arsenal a penalty and sent off Pieters without VAR. for a ball hitting his shoulder.

And every other Ref. Thats the issue.....Easily solved by getting rid of Marriner, couldn't referee a darts match
Nah, he's the worst by a long, long way. I'm not even taking the piss anymore about his eyesight, I've seen him give a throw in clearly to the wrong team from 5 yards away and minutes later give the opposition team a corner when their striker hit one about 10 yards wide without any chance of a deflection, yet again from a short distance away with no obstruction to his line of sight. I'd love to see the VAR stats and see how many decisions he's had overturned compared to others. And every other Ref. Thats the issue.....
Disagree. He’s poor, but many worse, Taylor, Mason, Friend, Moss, Pawson, Dean.... ok ill stop now. They’re all terrible...Nah, he's the worst by a long, long way. They're crooked, not incompetent.Disagree. He’s poor, but many worse, Taylor, Mason, Friend, Moss, Pawson, Dean.... ok ill stop now. They’re all terrible...
I’d say both. Can also add Attwell, Coote and Madley to the list of shame...They're crooked, not incompetent.
Atwell is one of the better ones.I’d say both. Can also add Attwell, Coote and Madley to the list of shame...
I still remember Attwell refereeing Wolves at home 11 years ago now, one of the most blatant performances of all time, and who can forget ghost goal.Atwell is one of the better ones.
