I will always think it is being manipulated to give certain teams what they need till we can hear and see everything and the dippers and rags get screens , still not heard a reason they cant do that
Their are 2 possible reasons why the PiGMOL/FA don't want to open the curtains on VAR:
Either it's being used to manipulate the outcome of games, or they don't want people to realise that the standard of refereeing is so poor.
Given that we already know how poor the standard of refereeing is, the only plausible answer is corrupt intent.

The ref makes a decision, but if that decision is wrong and he does nothing to rectify the situation it means nothing to him. He fucks up and just thinks 'Oh, well. These things happen. Onward and upward'. But we feel the hurt and the anger for the rest of our lives. Many of us fans are still seething with anger over decisions that went against us years and years ago, while the referee who made the decision that caused us so much anguish has probably even forgotten about the match, such was the irrelevance of the result to him.
We as supporters are being short-changed and it's high time something was done about it. The way things stand incompetence and/or corruption are destroying our national sport. And we are seemingly content to let it continue.
The only way we are going to get a change is to act, and act now. Choose a date, some day next season, when we all agree to boycott a game and let those in charge know exactly how we feel about their blatant manipulation of the rules. If enough football supporters across the country joined in they'd get the message.
VAR should stay strictly with the Clear & Obvious Error. If an offside is by a good margin but missed, it is a C&OE. The VAR team should get one replay (at normal) speed, if they can't tell from that, then the on-field officials have not made a C&OE. Last week, you could clearly see that the ref' had his back turned to the Fred incident. That is where VAR can intervene (despite the outcome).
Maybe just give each side one appeal per half. They don’t check every close call in tennis do they?
Referee can look into off the ball incidents for misconduct if needed without an appeal needing to be used.
Another good night for VAR last night. Not one person other than Coote thought that was in the box and as 1 said if it takes that long to review it, how is it a clear and obvious error.

you can take the margin of error every time with a match referee. but trying to say its 100% right because of technology well that is the problem ? you can not say its 100% even the police with a speed camera gives you a margin because of technology they use is not 100%
i also have a problem with line of sight with a tv camera and if your not inline then how can it be 100%
even the grass lines on the pitch are they 100% ? i laugh when they say on tv look at the line of the pitch
would the groundsman bet his life that his lines are 100% ?
i have heard that rugby is the best for VAR and the referee being mic up. but i also feel its because the officials are in the ground up in a box and watching live and listening to the sound of the game ? not like football with it being in a studio miles away and taking control over the match officials
Corruption in plain sight.Why was Uniteds second goal allowed,We saw a good while after the game re-started a camera angle from behind the dead ball line,show clearly the ball being “punched”,this angle was not shown to any official,why.City v Spurs CL Spurs winning goal was viewed by the official ,goal allowed,then after the re-start up pops a view not shown to the ref showing clearly a deliberate hand ball.Who is corrupt VAR,Ref,PL,EUFA.Beyond a joke.Get rid,to many instances where mistakes are covered up.
