Var debate 2019/20

Yesterday I heard on Talksport they were discussing a penalty decision and the commentator said he couldn’t understand why it was taking so long to award the penalty as it was obviously going to be given, in the studio they were talking about what VAR was checking and said “we can check what they are looking for on the App” and told the guy at the ground that VAR weren’t even looking at a penalty or offside but just if it was a goal or not.
What App are they talking about and surely if there is one it could be checked if VAR was working at all at Klanfield and also what is being checked each time.
The commentator said he was sick and tired of VAR and so was the SU manager when he spoke to him.
Just mic them up and show it on the screen so everybody knows what is going on, and if the ground doesn’t have a screen then they shouldn’t be allowed to play there, ie OT & Klanfield- make them have a screen and if they have to lose capacity then so be it.
We are going to be cheated out of the best ever footballing season of 100 points and the w4nkers in Merseyside will be shown as the highest points scorers and they remove all our records. It is a fraud of the highest order.
All this is designed so we implode, they are hoping our fans will stop going and our owners will leave, that’s what they want.
I fücking hate football with a passion right now, it is bent.

Pep's the best in the business but I doubt he's ever came up against the corrosive psychological impact of institutionalised cheating. Been watching footy since I was no age and hate the thought but the game we love is finished.

I hope the murderers enjoy their assisted Title - it will never be anything other than tainted by collusion and corruption. Can't wait for the red scouse shit-storm next season when a different Club is chosen to win the title.

genuine question , if you believe the games finished are you no longer watching? Attending?
Why aren’t thousands of fans boycotting football over VAR or holding protests/marches ?
That’s right i’ve Packed in going , City are my club & always will be but we’re talking about the game of football being changed forever, I agree with Wilder at S.Utd, a completely different game is being devised , hand picked winners & no celebrating goals any more.
I do beleive many thousands will abandon this ‘new football’ at the end of the season if var is not scrapped, we don’t tend to do protests in this country , we tend to just walk away as I already have done , can’t see many at Utd or Liverpool doing the same though.

It's funny how when viewing a possible penalty for City VAR takes seconds to reach no penalty, when VAR view our goal it takes seconds to say no goal. Yet it took it seemed at least 3 mins to give utd a penalty. When are goals it seems they are looking for the smallest reason to rule it out.

Why isnt the time it takes to review VAR added on at the end its normally only 3 or 4 minutes which was the normal time before VAR was brought in

Watching the news and they have just said it's changing over the festive period, more info will be given on the screens, the info that was promised months ago..except at the rags and dippers because they don't have screens,i have not heard anyone say why they do not have to have screens, the other old grounds in the prem have screens,it's 2019,tech can be put in anywhere, why are nobody at pigmol explaining this and why aren't the journo's asking, can the people who say that there is nothing untowards going on explain it please

we’ve had the bad end of refs decisions probably the most in recent years and we’ve had a few VAR decisions not gone our way this season.

Is this because the FA and authorities don’t want us to win anything ?

I don’t put this down to corruption against West Ham, just pathetic referring and being unlucky - as I say and repeat ,I’m no great lover of VAR but something had to be done eventually to help refs who are blind guessing on key decisions, VAR is the step in the right direction for the long run but of course it has to improve and be implemented better.

You no doubt feel better to believe in the system and referees implementing it , and again no personal disrespect intended, but I know when somebody is pissing on my boots and then telling me it's raining .

The whole system of VAR , the PiGMOL clan , and its implentation is corrupt .

The football world apart from Liverpool and United supporters can see exactly what is going on.

The media are worried about upsetting the favoured two , and their access to the clubs .

VAR is doing what FFP couldn’t, fans saying they might or definitely will not go next season fits the agenda of the PL to get their cosy cartel back which must include the Dippers and the Rags. You won’t hear any similar comments from the Red cults because they are very satisfied with VAR. We are still waiting for a VAR decision to go for us, not one, the Rags have had 10 penalties this season and Dippers at least two goals chalked off for the opposition plus a very soft penalty against Leicester.

You're just paranoid , ask any dipper/rag .
