The decision in last year's Derby to say Rashford was "not intefering" was the worst I have ever seen. It was clear at the time it was not a straight decision. It could not have been a mistake. Few in the ground (including most United fans) thought it was a goal. Just like the decision today. If it was Atwell again he needs to be removed from football.

I know it’s liverpool and funny, but this just highlights what a fucking farce VAR is and how it’s damaging the game. The referees and pgmol are so unfit for purpose it’s killing the game and this just shows exactly why.

You only have to look at who scored wolves second goal today and you see how fucking inept these fuckers are.

Watched in pub with a good crowd, after seeing the replay everyone was gutted they were sure it will be given as it wasn't even close.
Quite funny when it wasn't given and chorus's of "your getting sacked in the morning - aimed at the groundsman"

Townshend said post match Pigmol were offered the technology used by FIFA and UEFA but they turned it down.

Problem is it was the linesman who called offside, without VAR Liverpool would've still been denied a legitimate goal.

I can live with that tbh. If VAR isn’t even eliminating clear factual mistakes, then the trade off (slowing game down, not being able to fully celebrate goals etc) doesn’t seem worth it frankly.
