Who would have thought that in time and given a chance, it can improve.


:) You believe everything the guy says? It's "improved" because they have changed the guidelines, that's all. They are still absolutely hopeless.

I know, they should just abandon VAR then the VAR error rate will be down to zero. Win win.
 
everyone can see how much it's improved and how much better the game is for it.

Don't get me wrong, I am in favour of the new guidelines to let the referee's decision count wherever "possible". Hell, I am in favour of getting rid of the whole thing and letting the referee just referee the game.

But to then claim VAR has improved as a result of using it less isn't the ringing endorsement some people seem to think.

Let's keep using it less and less until we don't use it all and watch the VAR error rate plummet even further.
