It's actually embarrassing now

I don't understand that image.

Assuming for a moment that the PL are smart enough to have a system that can create that image accurately enough (willing suspension of disbelief) and assuming the apparent 5cm tolerance is properly built-in (but is never shown for some reason) I thought the upper boundary of the arm for handball and therefore offside was in line with the armpit. So that image shows the Burnley player onside, does it not?

Are we sure their system works properly?

I’ve said from its inception, it will just be a form of legalised match fixing, that will be used to benefit the usual cabal. Ive seen nothing to deviate me from this view.

VAR works in every other sport. This is all about corrupt officials who answer to no one.

And there you have it,other sports have their version of VAR and on the whole seems to work fine,why is it that in football it doesn’t work or should I say deliberately not working correctly..

The thing for me is if there’s still so many glaring errors happening on a weekly basis with VAR, what justification is there for having it? I sure as shit preferred the odd ref or offside human error back in the day, compared to this crap where the game is stopped for 5 minutes, every detail scrutinised and even then decisions are wrong.

I actually look forward to the league cup games as they don't use it in that.

I can accept wrong decisions when there is no VAR, I can't when there is, even worse when there isn't and they find a way to rule a goal out.

That's not even considering how much emotion it's taking from the game.

I am rapidly losing it, tbh. I don't watch any non-City games any more and I dread how we will get screwed over in our games now.

But the thing I hate the most is how the game has changed from the referee making decisions immediately in the flow of the game and either getting them right or being incompetent or corrupt. Now the game's lawmakers force you to analyse every incident microscopic detail: precisely which part of the body is handball, precisely which part of the body is offside, exactly where does the offence shirt pulling start and finish, how do you determine if there are players covering or not, how do the data points work in SAOT, how are the images prepared, what about the 5 cm tolerance, what is a challenge, what is careless. And that is all from the incidents today.

The game is being turned into a mix of WWE and NFL and I hate it.

On the channel I watched, I think Astro sports, I shit you not they had an animation to show you which body part was offside and they had it on the utd player. There must be a video of this

Those clubs have been pissed off that they are losing the Champions League slots, and trophies.
Between us and Villa we have taken 3 Champions League sports, and 1 trophy off them in 3 seasons.
We saw what happened on Monday, Liverpool should have been down to 10 men in 8 minutes. They should have been down another man in the 2nd half and should have given away 2 penalties. Fast forward to today, you get the VAR decisions for Chelsea, you get them for Man Utd when they both clearly show that they were wrong.
Sunderland vs Brentford see’s 2 penalties awarded for the same fouls that Liverpool got away with twice on Monday, and we have to wait for Leeds to misplace a pass because the referee wasn’t allowing us to challenge for the ball.

Unfortunately VAR is ruining the game. So many people falling out of love with football and the authorities don’t seem to get it. It’s horrible having a feeling of dread every time you score that some unseen minor infringement will see it chalked off. Problem is it’s too far integrated now to change and it will continue to suck the life and enjoyment out of the game until there’s nothing left.

That image is too close to call and the goal should have stood, The VAR team used the Burnley player arm to highlight the offside, but that is wrong and not in the rules because you can not score with the arm, the rule is the shirt's sleeve and to me it looks about the same making it onside

And for the winner and pen well, it's a 100% a united call that no other team gets ?
I can guarantee the City players shirts will be pulled in the box at every corner and free kicks and nothing will be given
