I was saying this yesterday no intention of playing the ball.Five people spent 5 minutes looking at the incident and not one of them spotted the obvious push on Semenyo. Penalty.

Well I have a theory that they pander to the media outrage rather than correct decisions. So they might make sure we get a decision in the next few games.Good luck with that :-)
But was Haaland off side ? He looks clearly inside the 5cm tolerance. Not sure how var measure the 5cm
How much money has been wasted on semi automatic technology just to come up with decisions like that? There were a couple of offsides last night that were obvious but the flag didn’t go up straight away. They are hiding behind technology to avoid dropping clangers and it doesn’t look good .Stones got injured when play continued after a blatant offside a while ago it’s ruined the game
I'm only reporting what the bbc said. Perhaps they are trying to justify the 5 minutes but to me all it does is provide another level of stupidity/corruption.I thought that the VAR was working, just that the players were too close for it to be able to differentiate the players involved.
Try explaining that to our resident VAR lover. Believe me I’ve tried.Biggest issue is when was the ball struck. Theyve admitted they dont have the tech to be 100% sure!
I mean ….. what????
It's a different sport but that review appeared to take 50 seconds total until he had arrived at a decision. The other Ref spoke for 10 seconds of that to give a second opinion. It took 5 minutes to make a decision last night and now you want 4 blokes stood around discussing it !
All the while the fan in the stand is left cold and ignored.
How about the opposite of what you say, Var have 30 seconds, one minute to decide. If they can't the on field decision stands. No lines, no subjective shite, no semi automated, only working occasionally shite, just a quick decision.
Or just scrap it.
Not working the way they thought it would.I'm only reporting what the bbc said. Perhaps they are trying to justify the 5 minutes but to me all it does is provide another level of stupidity/corruption.
For a multi million pound business the equipment seems to break down an awful lot.

But it could easily have finished 1-1 which is clearly what the officials were hoping for. After all, a 2-0 result makes the second leg much less of a spectacle. Let us see how they treat Arsenal with their scrums at corners. It was a decision that nobody appealed for, nobody expected and nobody wanted, but having said that we scored our second goal in the injury time added on whilst taking away our goal so justice was done in the end.
Hopefully they will now look more closely at Gabriel & company manhandling defenders at Arsenal corners.
The difference between video frames can be as much as 10cm, so this arbitrary and subjective application of a 5cm tolerance is bollocks and as we've seen applied only when it suits.I wasn't aware of this 5cm tolerance rule until now.
What is it exactly and does it work in favour of the attacker?
Was it used for Newcastle's second goal against us in the league game when the lines drawn seemed to indicate offside?
