VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

No problem at all with the disallowed goal. Mahrez was a good half a body offside and the linesman missed it.

That’s exactly why it’s been brought in.

They got it wrong for the penalty claim as to look at the penalty it couldn’t have beeb offside, it wasn’t a penalty therefore we should have got the ball back but they gave Everton a free kick for the offside.

Don’t think the Foden one was a penalty, they got that right.

Agree except the Foden decision. It looked a clear cut a penalty to me.

I did not go yesterday. 80 percent of the reason was this var farce.

Just can’t enjoy scoring a goal. Takes away all the spontaneity.

If it is still here next season I will be attending about ten city games and use the rest of my time to do lower leagues. It is the worst thing to happen to football in my lifetime.

I literally will not carry on watching it like it is. Hate it with an absolute passion.
Up until y’day I was fuming with anger about VAR , I hate it but y’day v Everton was a realisation of how games can be ‘managed ‘ against City to give Everton as much chance as possible to get a result . It was disgusting but i’m Just sad now as I know it’s time to walk away, i’ll Go to the last home game to thank David for all he’s done for us & the absolute pleasure it’s given me to watch one of the best players in the world then i’m Done . Many thanks var for destroying OUR game

When a VAR decision goes against us, other fans seem to take gret pleasure in that. However, when var decision goes for us we join in with the fuck VAR chants.

Are fans of other clubs not against it?

Some of you are saying the first goal was rightly ruled out by VAR, no it wasn't, well not for me. Football is all about living that moment, it looked a great team goal and so I jumped up and celebrated. If the linesman had flagged I would have accepted it even though it would kill the moment but to have it cancelled out by that joke at Stockley Park is wrong.

VAR is not being used for clear and obvious errors, it is a crap and I am sick of it.

And the next time you won’t jump up , how can that ever be good for the game ?

sorry no, he was clearly offside, it's what VAR is for. If you're saying you don't want VAR fair enough, but it's here so the focus now should be on making it work correctly, and in this case it did
