Introduction of VAR is probably worth 6-8 points for City vs. United and Liverpool over the season. Possibly more.

Thank fuck for that,it won't stifle debate but it will get a lot right and we should be the main recipient of better decisions,be interested in how exactly it will be used and what for but it's a huge step in the right direction,hope we get to see who voted for it this time

Watched one in the Aussie football where the ref gave a free kick on the edge of the box. The VAR ref told him to look at it again & he awarded a penalty. At the end of the game the VAR ref confirmed he had asked him to review it as there was no foul & the ref had thought he was looking at where the offence took place.

At least they have been testing it out thouroughly, before diving in, so hopefully a lot of the potential time consuming fuckups should be avoided.

Ah those shining examples that currently rank behind every ref fifa has ever considered appointing to officiate at a tournament. Mind you I am sure they are happy, snuggled up in their yooooonited duvets, complete with long service dressing gown and slippers. Utterly incompetent. VAR is needed because of poor refs like these.
