VAR thread 2022/23

After the non-goal in the derby - facilitated by the absolute worst decision I have seen in modern Premier League football - I have decided I will never have sympathy with any other team getting a shit decision ever again.

A shit set of refs are giving constant shit decisions, welcome to the roulette we all play every week, it’s no longer surprising. This league is as much about luck than skill with the state of refereeing right now. We might as well all go and play fucking bingo on a Saturday instead.

Head of Manchester United positive VAR decisions Howard Webb

calls all VAR officials to summit on Tuesday @ Stockley Park.........

Hopefully Lee Mason isn't driving the coach otherwise they'll end up
in a park in Stockport..

Amazing all the apologies over errors and this news are never called for after the recent howlers v us ie the Wolves game and the blatant penalty on Jack, the Rags offside goal, the Everton game and non penalty on Mahrez, the Spurs home game and non penalty for handball etc

I don't expect one after we get shafted at Arsenal

Is this new "rule" of booking the 3rd player who dares to go near the ref to ask about their decision just a way of making sure Bruno Fernandes never gets carded for his whinging/protests? He is always the first in the refs face but never gets booked for some reason, so maybe this ruling now vindicates this

Is it even a rule?

Lemina was very unlucky to get sent off for that! He even had a point when he came over too...

Seems like United, who are usually the biggest offenders, were made aware of new rule as their usual antics weren’t prevalent in this weekends game.
