Yes Var was technically correct to rule Haaland offside but come on. A quarter of an inch! Where is the joy in watching football, it is about attack v defence and goals scored not waiting 3 minutes for a computer to forensically analyse something. A heap if shit.
It’s terrible for the sport. The ultimate passion killer.

It was only correct if the frame and timing was 100% and we don't get to see that level of detail. There is still plenty of room for subjective decision making

And the fact he came back onside had to turn and then beat the defender. He didn’t gain an advantage and I’m sure one more frame would have shown him onside

Thought it was supposed to give the attacker the benefit of the doubt? Fucking kill joy that is being used to manipulate results.
