@DiscoMirror: Been told tonight that Man Utd have had no dialogue with Juventus over Vidal and he's not on their radar #MUFC

Utd aren't interested in the top talent because they know they can't get them or they've already rejected them. See Kroos and Di Maria this year, and about 15 players last year.

I hope City to sign both Pogba and Barkley

Both have great talents, and both are home-grown players

Clichy - Pogba - Barkley - Rekik - Milner - Hart - Wright

Seems juve are willing to sell because of his knee situation and United are now reluctant for the same reason..

He had a minor op to his meniscus to which he made a full recovery as evidenced by his WC performances,or am I wrong?
I've read interviews with Vidal recently where he's talked about resting the knee as if it was still a problem.

No sign yet of Utd signing a defender. Can't take them seriously until they sort that defence out.
havent you heard that they are gettung Hummels

There are rumours Antonio Conte quit Juventus because the club wanted to sell Arturo Vidal or Paul Pogba.

The Coach announced he had terminated his contract by mutual consent this evening – just two days into pre-season training.

The timing is remarkable and fuelled rumours Conte was angry at the club’s transfer strategy.

“You can’t sit down to dinner at the Ritz with €10,” he told reporters earlier this summer and he had repeatedly questioned their ability to target the Champions League.

The Bianconeri missed out on Alexis Sanchez, who joined Arsenal instead, and negotiations for Juan Iturbe from Verona are dragging on.

There are now rumours Conte’s decision to walk away was a protest at Juve’s intention to sell one of their top midfielders – Pogba or Vidal.

It has been widely reported that Manchester United are eager to sign Chile international Vidal, even though the price-tag is €45m (around £34m).

Pogba is the subject of a bidding war between Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester City for at least €70m.

Marotta has said Vidal's not for sale, although they could just be pushing for a higher fee:

"Vidal is not for sale, he is one of the most important players in the squad," Marotta told reporters at Allegri's unveiling.

"He [Vidal] is happy to be here."

United are in so much debt they can't even afford a Radar, let alone have anyone on the thing!
