I'm also looking to plan a trip to Manchester with a friend of mine and go to the game, any recommendations on where can we get tickets? Apart from viagogo or craigslist of course ;D (if anyone is kind enough to help, pm me so as to not derail the thread) Cheers!

your best bet is to ask around the pubs on the day. some will have missed their flight or had to work. can also look on ticket exchange on here but we will definitely sell out for this one with long term season ticket holders.

great game that night in 2009. good look for the season

Learnt from the last Munich trip the issues (and cost) of leaving booking hotels in Munich until nearer the time so want to book mine now. Anyone that went last time got any hotels to recommend? I am assuming that the Moscow game could be equally expensive but doubt we will get any recommendations - always happy to be surprised though!!

The problem with Munich last time was that it was during the Oktoberfest which ramps up hotel prices considerably. Think there will be more bargains to be had in December despite the xmas markets being on.

I've not seen anything posted on here and not had an email since the one on Wednesday informing of the rebranding.

No doubt this has been mentioned elsewhere but looking at our fixtures just now I see that our three league games that follow our three Champions League away games are Man Utd (Home after trip to Plezn/Prague) , Chelsea (Away after trip to Moscow) and Arsenal (Home after trip to Bayern).

Looking at it from a positive point of view, we smash everyone in the CL at their own grounds building momentum to go on and do the same in the league.

I've emailed them and been told:

We will be posting on the forum and emailing as soon as I have the info to hand

If we get it in time, we will be handing out flyers at the match this weekend

So basically hang on until they email/leaflet us! :-)
