Its a cup game on a Wednesday and its not exactly major stuff for Villa like it was Notts County or Leicester, or even Aris. So dont expect the stadium to look too full

We gonna lose anyhow so might as well be empty when we do
Hahahahahah thats the spirit!

LOL, im not normally like this but the FA Cup is becoming a long old haul for us and if we play like we did against Fulham then i just cant see us winning

I feel this game is more important than the Wigan one for me. I'd take a trothy over 4th all day long, when 4th might not even get you into the Champions league! 2 home wins in this cup and we are at wemberly! S/F

North Stand is pointless for night games. I suspect a lot of people bought seasoncards for kids that don't even go just so they start getting loyalty points early.
Yup.

Plus no-one wants a cup seat there because they don't wanna be surrounded "by a load of fucking kids".

The club have cocked up.

Yeah i gotta agree with this, i have a season ticket with my daughter in there but opted out of the cup scheme, so that on cup games me and a mate can select tickets back down in 110. At the county game i looked back at the NS and thought thank god im not there. Oh well next year i wont be renewing there!
On a positive note i think we will do Villa and bite back.

The on-line tickets are only offering East Stand Level 1 and North Stand Level 1.
What's that all about?
Are the other areas all sold out? (Fat chance!) Or are the club railroading everyone again to try and create an atmosphere?

They say on a Villa forum that as of 10am yesterday morning they had sold 2100. Villa fans can now get them on the night. Not especting too many of us to be honest, but fair play to those that can make it. Times are hard & 5 home games in a row can't be easy

someone do my night shift so i can go
already book loads of holidays for league games :(

dont say a shift swap cause then saturday night is the only offer you get

To be honest, this constant whining about the North Stand is dull.

There will likely be 15,000 empty seats tomorrow, of which what? 4,000 tops will be in the North Stand? What about the 11,000 others that don't bother to turn up?

Its just more visible in the North Stand as the non-attendees' seats are not often filled by South Standers or 3rd Tier'ers that have been moved, they mask the empty seats in the East and Colin Bell stands. It's families that sit there, that probably can't afford a 3rd non-season ticket game in 10 days too, give folk a break. If we were locking fans out for the sake of these empty seats then fair enough, but we're not.

I also don't get this - we need fans behind the goal nonsense? Why? 30,000 City fans should be capable of making an atmosphere and encouraging the team, wherever they're sat.
