Villa (H) Post Match Thread

Kept groaning when Villa lost the ball
I can say in all honesty that that scouse cnunt ground me down over the 90 minutes. And also yes! ..bernardo has black hair and a beard but he is not gundo who to be fair also has black hair and a beard. Its written on the back of his fooking shirt you daft dicslixsic sausage!

I didn't know it either. But I'm going to assume that a professional referee on the pitch knows the rule and if he missed it, the professional referees watching in the VAR room also know it. And they said it wasn't offside.

The commentators on my stream didn't even know what the Villa players were complaining about. They thought he might have handballed it. Then about 5 minutes later, they started talking about how the goal was controversial. Almost as if they'd been told to do so.

I am not entirely sure what we are trying to discuss, here. Maybe I misunderstand your point when you first quoted me.

The goal is fine.

Ferdinand is bleating.

It's all good :)

Was sure we'd be pulled up for that goal and the handball, but ok with me. Hard fought, good win.

BT sport was hilarious when they asked Peter Walton on why Dean Smith was red carded. He blubbered on about why it was offside and unfair instead of answering the question, to the point that they actually had to go back to him to ask the question again two minutes later when he'd calmed down.

First time I've ever heard Walton question a decision by the referee.

Great game, and thought that at 0-0. As much as Villa defended, when given the chance caused us problems. But in the end we deserved out bit of luck and a fantastic win and 3 points.

Never in doubt:)

True Grit.

Special mention to Foden & Bernie.

Gundo decent again.

Defence stood up again.

Weather did not help and I hope the injuries to KW & KDB are not serious.

(78 minutes) Villa’s energy levels have not been affected at all by the 3 week Covid layoff, they have been absolutely magnificent.

(80 minutes) The rustiness from an enforced 3 week Covid layoff is showing now and that goal was so so cruel on them but not unexpected after the adversity they have endured.

The Broadheath Baresi Danny Higinbotham sound like his dog has just been put down.Take it ,Take it ,Take it

“I don’t give a fuck if the rules are set out in stone, I don’t think they’re right, so that makes me right”

Another dickhead who gets away with stealing a living.
Bt are good at finding morons. It’s not as easy as those guys make it look
Interviewer:
Question 1 did you play for a Man Utd or b Liverpool ?
Question 2 your hired when can you start?

That was a massive win. In awful conditions, against a good team we found a way to win and another clean sheet. Foden was brilliant and Kev was superb - we just needed a focal point up front. They defended well and caused us problems on the break but we kept on knocking on the door. Thought Gundog and Bernie were excellent second half. Rodri played well too. Shame about Walker's injury. Grealish, talented though he is, is a dirty player and tried to injure several of our players including Walker. Sterling looked off form and should have done more. Jesus though rusty at least gave us a presence in the box.
All in all a tremendous win and the players deserve huge credit. It was a really good performance. We created loads and just needed some luck in front of goal. Eventually it came with that cracking finish by Bernie.

If Gary Crosby can score against Dibble by heading it out of hands then I have no issue with Rodri’s intervention. Once Mings gets control of the ball it’s game on.
