I've still no idea why that goal wasn't disallowed, they'd be riots if that had gone for United or Liverpool. Just heard the explanation but it's bullshit, we all know it's offside and we've got given an absolute freebie there.

some really good approach play tonight but the lack of a forward along with bad luck and good defending hampered us.

Foden brilliant all game, Bernardo fantastic second half in a much more comfortable position. Gundogan outstanding once more, only sterling put in a turgid performance. Mahrez did more than him in his cameo and he didn't even do anything, Shouldn't be anywhere near the team until he sorts himself out.

Hopefully the walker and kdb injuries were just impact injuries, they'll get a week to recover now.

That felt like a Southampton at home performance the last time we won the league.

And grealish can get fucked, dirty little petulant shit that screams out united player, wouldn't want him anywhere near this team
 
A fantastic win. Villa came and really had a go, they are a very decent side and pose a real threat.

That being said, we missed some fucking sitters and it could easily have been 4 or 5.

Bernardo 1st half - Really poor.
Bernardo 2nd half - Ran the show.

Really concerned about KDB, plenty of those types of challenges end up with fucked ankle ligaments.

Some very good individual performances out there - the 2 CBs, Cancelo, Gundogan, Rodri and Foden excellent.

Some absolute shockers though - Sterling was as bad as anything you would see from Mahrez and Jesus wasnt much better when he came on.
 
Love it, Walton being forced to admit he didn't know the rule book he is paid to know.

Well done Robbie Savage sticking up for us.

As for Bernie, he has been back to his best for three or four weeks, him and Gundo won us that with their desire to keep going.

Sterling and Jesus need to either get with it or don't fucking sulk if other players are in better form.

Thought it was Rodri's best game for a while, but our midfield never learnt that Grealish likes to drive inside with the ball.

Phew.
 
Big win, feels like it did when we went on that 14 game winning run in 18/19.

We were fucking brilliant.
 
Really good from Villa, like night and day from last year. If Barkley had any composure, they'd have scored at least one.

I bet they're all knackered.
