Villa is not actually a must win

its a must win game.....

we win and the pressure is on spurs to do the same.....

no excuses.......we must go out to win this game to keep it in our hands

You seen the odds for saturday? we're big favourites, but spurs are still (close) favourites to get 4th overall.
Bookies obviously think saturday will be a lot easier than wednesday....

we just need to win three games thats it.

only 3

yes it is because our goal difference is only 1 if it was 15/20 a draw on sat be ok

spurs lose on a tie in goal difference, so it's effectively 2

if we beat spurs 1-0 that becomes four, 2-0, they have to win their games by six more goals than us

worth bearing in mind, but we have to beat this lot, no excuses

When will some people get to grips with the need to WIN football matches??.. If we draw this, and they score that, and then we do this and they do that were 4th. Cut the crap for fuck sake. If this club is to progress it means we need to get some win win win mentality. Thats the manager, the players and us supporters.
We have two home games and if our sights are set on anything less than two wins from two, well quite frankly we dont deserve champions league football next year.
I think a lot of folk are losing the name of the bloody game .....to WIN GAMES!. Let the last game os the season take care of itself...4 th place will be won or lost at home.
well said only a prick would think otherwise ,lets win the lot

nah , odds will be around evens for a city win vs spurs, they haven't beaten a top half team away from home this season

difference is that we are more likely to drop points in our other games.

odds for villa & spuds games
Manchester City (10/11) Draw (13/5) Aston Villa (10/3)

Manchester City (13/15) Draw (27/11) Tottenham (13/5)

city have only lost twice at home

city clear faviorates with bookies for both games
with last game against west ham and them safe the Tevez scoring to send old club down senario avoided .

its a time for strong nerves and time to belive starting sat

We need BIG performances from everyone, but especially:
- Whoever the keeper is
- Toure: don't relapse into being shite again, please
- Barry: it's going to tough against Milner/Petrov, Modric/Palacios
- Whoever our two full backs are against Tottenham: Bale and Lennon scare me A LOT
- Tevez: return to form (ok, he's only 2 bad games, but still) needed URGENTLY

Come on City, you can do it! And even if you can't, you can still put a shift in!

Gareth Bale scares you alot! The chap didnt start a Premier League game under Redknapp up until Januray (Redknapp was forced to play him due to injuries) Bale had two good games against Arsenal and Chelsea and suddenly people think hes one of the best wingers in the league. HES SH*T! Different story with Lennon he was Tottenhams best player ALL SEASON up until he got injured. Your right about Modric being dangeros, Gareth Barry will have to be at his best and trying to stop him. Palacios is a headless chicken who cripples people.
