I never said he will sign, just that we have made the bid. I personally doubt very much if we will get him.

In TFM's defence here I actually know that we have made a bid for Villa but that is all, I don't know if it was accepted or if they are even considering it just that one was made! I can PM my source to a couple of people if they need it!

i think david villa has already decided that he wants to go to real madrid with the rest of the world class players.

David Villa is Valencia through and through, he may well be thinking not to strengthen their rivals at the same time as commanding a lower fee than other offers on the table.

yh but if you had to leave because of the clubs fiancial problems im sure the next best thing would be a club where the majority of the best players in the world are playing even more so if the only other club to table a bid is a club that hasnt even qualified for europe, unless he considers the move to city to save his fitness for the world cup and talks break down between him and real madrid can i see him coming to city and thats a massive if but im glad the club has the aspirations to go for such a player
