Villa v City post match thread.

Sorry for the delay, was still reading the happy thread.

Collymore intentions is derogatory against the City's owner ethnicity, though the fact might be correct, its racist slur makes it wrong, methinks.
I know exactly what his intentions were, and if you'd bothered to read some of my previous posts on this you would know exactly what I think of Collymore.

We managed to find a stream, thanks to Mrs Vienna's contacts on Facebook, though we were 2-0 up by the time we got it up and running.

Full credit to Pellers for playing the side he did, considering we couldn't score at Villa Park back in November. I am of the opinion that MP tried Sagna at centre-back today for two reasons:
1) To see if it would work.
2) To give MD a break.

Also, it was good to see the two Ferns and Fab playing together

And well done to Zaba for overruling Raheem and giving the ball to Nacho for the penalty, who's conversion of said peno was very Marioesque. And wasn't Kelechi very cool in taking his third? What a star we have in the making. And we only paid £350k? What a bargain.

A great performance and nice to be safely through to the fifth round.
Don't know how much he cost - relatively cheap compared to the others in the squad but what I like is his height ( 6 ft 2) , his mobility ( the 3rd goal today ) , the way the club has filled him out regarding diet , fitness , weights etc , attitude ,courage and sheer physical presence . What promise ! ;)

Just got back. Bit sloppy and pedestrian at times but we could afford to be after such a good start. Overall, a very very good performance, no injuries and a Nacho hattrick. doesn't get much better. The difference in the tempo of the midfield compared to what it is like when Yaya played was staggering. I appreciate everything yaya has done for us but he shouldn't start anymore as he's more of a hindrance . Nacho again showing that he deserves more time on the pitch, lets hope pellegrini recognises it this time.

"The man with 2 wives"

Why use that in a derogatory way? Cries his eyes out when people are racist towards him but happy to belittle other cultures. Utter shit stain.

I've only seen the (brief) highlights on MoTD, but were City playing a bit deeper today? It seems to me that it's a much more relaxed way of playing for the whole team & enables us to defend in more numbers & make use of the speed of players like Navas, Aguero, Sterling, KDB & Kelechi. I know Villa were poor but is this the way to go?

Yeah looked like it also we had 43% of the ball it gave us more space to run into

I I cant believe we did not have a designated penalty taker ,it has happened so many times at different clubs ,some times it turns to a farce glad it did not happen today good old Zabba

According to others on here, we paid £350k for his services.

A bargain compared to whatshisname.
