Villa Vs City Post Match Thread

Yaya was fucking hopeless until the point he scored the goal, never actually moving with the ball and just playing short passes or attempting crap long balls. I was shouting at him to actually run with the ball and the first time he did that, he scored.

If he hadn't bagged he'd have got slaughtered on here tonight.

I'm over the moon but let's not gloss it up.
summed up to a tee!

YaYa has never been dropped or rested since he arrived. For all those who wonder why, today provided the perfect explanation.

Apart from Merlin, no one was even prepared to try and pick Villas resolute back line open - but Yaya was always there with a chip or a Pirlo diagonal that failed often but every now and then would find a way through. That's the man not the machine.

You seem to be getting over emotional about this SHB - you seem to think that yaya is shit and "a twat" - I don't.

Just a difference of opinion and the end of the season will prove one of us right. That said, I'll leave you to it.
Hes a twat for what happened in the summer.yes he lost a lot of credability with me for that.one goal aint gonna change that for me.
Oh he has been shit this season ..yes.
I see you swerved my question about having never called any city player shit.I thought edin was shit tonight aswell.

He's a twat for wanting a slice/Piece of the same cake they gave Vieira?

He's a game changer, look at what he has won our club, how can you want to sell such a great player which any other team would take your hand off for.

Really?? I didnt see many bids for him in summer.Every player has a sell by date.yayas was end of last yr..Why do you think we want Barklay or Pogba

If that performance was from scum or Liverpool all the media would be getting there dicks out because it's city it's brushed under the carpet and generally downgraded to a oh villa were unlucky

Why.i just say it as it is.if he hadnt scored...99% would have been slagging him off as rammy said.
Im not.gonna chamge my opinion cos he scored.a goal.

I'm not asking u to change your opinion mate I just think the way you're slagging off a man who's been a major part of our success is unbelievable he's also just lost his brother. The reason he's playing badly is because off his manager playing him in DM push him up and he does what he does and you and I both know it.
What has the sad death of his brother gotta do with his showing tonight or this season or the shenanigans in summer

How do u know he's not over him? I'm not talking about the summer haven't mentioned it once he did wrong and he knows it but like everyone else he deserves a 2nd chance obviously not from you tho eh?

I bet you were 1 of those fans that gave Edghill the boos?

But we do glossing up so well on here, especially when players score goals.

I still think that like Ronaldinho, Txiki and Ferran will look back and know they sold him a season too late. It's very likely that Pellegrini demanded he stay as he knew his influence on the team not just at a footballing level, but with no spending limits it wouldn't have been shocking to see a big Pogba bid and Yaya on the next Eurostar.

SHB, not sure what you expect mate, what were your reviews like when we really were shit?
So explain to me why yaya was outstanding tonight.genuine question.

Today was a must win game to keep us in touch with Chelsea. We won! This was mostly down to Yaya scoring the breakthrough goal, when we looked like we might not score. In addition to that he, along with Silva, made the midfield tick. Not sure how any City fan can find fault with Yaya today after he was instrumental in us winning a must win game?

Didn't know you worked at the club to know if there were any bids for him.
Why do you think we want Barklay or Pogba? Do we? Have the club issued a statement saying that or was it a Sauce HP.
