I'm not asking u to change your opinion mate I just think the way you're slagging off a man who's been a major part of our success is unbelievable he's also just lost his brother. The reason he's playing badly is because off his manager playing him in DM push him up and he does what he does and you and I both know it.
What has the sad death of his brother gotta do with his showing tonight or this season or the shenanigans in summer

How do u know he's not over him? I'm not talking about the summer haven't mentioned it once he did wrong and he knows it but like everyone else he deserves a 2nd chance obviously not from you tho eh?

I bet you were 1 of those fans that gave Edghill the boos?

Never bood a player.never will...Second chance?he may not be over the death of his brother.Ok yaya you can just stroll around all night cos your heads not right..do you knlw how stupid you sound.
Accept it.hes.past.his best..i want him to keep scoring wgilst he plays for us etc but do you really believe the powers that be would not have sold for big money.course they would.
Anyway..im off to sleep.work tomorrow.

When it comes to turning against one of our own players, fans here seem to do a great job. Even when that player just won us a game to prevent us from falling too far from the league leaders. Not to mention said player was magnificent just last season, a title winning season. Honestly, when did so many here become spoilt, self righteous fans?

Did Hart have a save to make?

Yaya was so lazy, shouting at him all game to actually carry the ball rather than just lay it off, first time he does it he fucking. scores.

Different team when Fernando came on and Merlin was on another planet.

As was I

Took the easy option all night and if he was anyone else would have been taken off

I just wish Pelle would play three in midfield in the away games, CL and the big games. Has we would completely control the game and win most times.

How stupid I sound hahahahahahaha night night SHB xxx

Yaya didn't do that much wrong but he seems to be taking the easy option much more than before. Makes himself available in the middle then just plays short passes straight away, occasionally lofting it forward. Looks knackered most of the time. Pushed forward he'll look much better, if the two Ferns can both start a game sometime soon.

SHB, not sure what you expect mate, what were your reviews like when we really were shit?
So explain to me why yaya was outstanding tonight.genuine question.

Today was a must win game to keep us in touch with Chelsea. We won! This was mostly down to Yaya scoring the breakthrough goal, when we looked like we might not score. In addition to that he, along with Silva, made the midfield tick. Not sure how any City fan can find fault with Yaya today after he was instrumental in us winning a must win game?
Next question. If we hadnt had won or even if yaya hadnt scored what would your opinion be of him tonight on that performance.Sometimes you gotta look at the bigger picture.Merlin didnt score but was by fat the most influential player on the park....so with your argumemt silva.was poor cos he didnt score the goal?

Yes for me Yaya still looked short of his best but how many times has he popped up with an important goal to break the deadlock, and that was a lovely finish today just when it was beginning to look like it was going to be one of those nights where he have 25-30 attempts on goal and nothing goes in.

The introduction of Fernando, just like the introduction of Lampard on Tuesday, went a long way to giving us some control and balance. Without the ball Yaya cannot operate in a two-man midfield, it's asking far too much of the man alongside him, with two of Fernando, Fernandinho and Lampard in the midfield we look a much better side, especially against opposition that can keep the ball, like against the better technicians in Europe. This will allow Yaya a bit more freedom and less emphasis on him when we haven't got the ball, but he still needs to work hard though.

In the home games against maybe the lesser sides this doesn't have as much bearing obviously because possession-wise we are generally so dominant and Yaya's lack of mobility without the ball is far less of an issue.
