Villa Vs City Post Match Thread

A very professional champions performance. We kept battling away and won due to some clever finishing punishing Villas tired legs at the death, clinical and devastating.Silva was superb.

Not like me to say much like this on the forum but some of you guys are shocking in supporting our players! Besides 2 counter attacks and a half chance for wiemann you totally dominated villa yet its still nit good enough?!?! Never have i seen a home team play like that and yet when facing 11 players inside 25 yards time after time we get our rewards in the end. As for the constant savaging of yaya its not gone way too far to the point some are so blinkered whatever he does wont be good enough.hhe always looked for the ball and maybe after all the shite he has received hes trying too hard? Reading that match day forum was a real eye opener and shows what a spoilt bunch of bastards some of our fans have become!we have NO devine right to win a game and i thought we were fantastic, professional and worked our bollocks off! Every game for us is like attack v defence and ive just witnessed one of the best midfield performances I've ever seen from merlin, milner great again and fernando back and already in the groove! We've never had it so good yet its still not good enough for some?!?! We were fantastic today and our quality and relentless pressure paid off. Very happy city tonight and i think a few need to learn that we won't win 5 or 6 nil every time. Anyway. .....celebration beer time!

Agree with everything you say but cannot take it seriously because of one line "milner great again" Astounding, but its all about opinions!!

First time anyone has accused Yaya of trying too hard. Good win tho. I'm happy.

"Aguero's strike was also top quality, although it gave the scoreline a sheen that City did not truly deserve."

...so writes some wanker from the bbc, bitter pundits can't take it when reality crushes their agenda.
Did not deserve, which idiot wrote that???.Did he watch the same match??.The number of attempts that we had..ugh if we did have our shooting boots the scoreline would have been something else..one of the most deserved wins for City, would have been a travesty if it was a draw...Shocking to see such negative publicity even after a fabulous win..

There is no word to adequately describe David Silva. People can throw around "majestic", "genius" etc, but they at not enough. Best player we've ever had and ever will have.

It's great to have Fernando back, we always looked like we could concede on the counter until he came on and shut the door.

Fingers crossed he stays fit, he crucial this season to our balance of play.

Indeed,he was just the tonic at a time the game was looking like it may swing in their favour.....I was screaming for his introduction as,had he not been,I fear we may have been caught on the break.
Also,a special mention to Lampard,he,once again, helped bring a composure to the team.

A shame we didn't get to see Jovetic.

Fantastic performance and great result.

Loving the bitterness espoused by ex players and hacks, we will bottle it up and sprinkle liberally on yayas 4 weetabix before training every day....;)

It will help us to our 3rd title..

Come on city !!!

Had to laugh at them singing where were you when you were s**t...when there was a crowd of 32,000 inside 42,000 capacity Villa Park
We actually sang it first to them
