If they have only taken half the allocation there will be uproar. After last season away at Chelsea when we did the same the club said it would review its policy of how many tickets they would request. Obviously not

There's no way on gods green earth city have requested a smaller allocation, and I cannot see that villareal would keep back tickets for any reason. My guess is that ultimately that stand only holds 1400 when advertising and all that is considered.

Definitely holds more, I've sat in it. I genuinely believe the ticket allocation must be based on the behaviour of past British fans in Villareal.
In the other thread I have posted details to where you can get tickets in the home end if you are going to be in or around Castellon on the day of the game or the day before. It's a shopping centre on the outskirts called Salera, in there there is a Villareal stall that has tickets for sale.

ok this is how it is.
we are 100% only getting 1400 tickets, this is due to some seats in that stand have been removed, in years gone by other clubs were able to use those seats hence a bigger allocation, now the seats simply do not exsist.
so on the night they can not "open it up" to any fans, ours or villareal.
our club were never given an option of more than the 1400, we took what they offered.

I understand what you a saying Bill but this was done in 05.
Estadio El Madrigal is a 25,000 all seater stadium. It was upgraded in 2005 as requirements didn't meet UEFA standards so they created an office for the coach, physiotherapy room, and a bath and showers area. There also created an office for the UEFA delegates, an anti-doping hall, and the room for press conferences was expanded. When Rangers played they recieved 3000 official tickets
