Vincent Kompany 2015/16 performances

for sure unless if you are prepared to always having to sub him every time he get injured
 
On his bike for me. 24 appearances and he's got injured in what? 5 of those? No room for sentiment, it knocked us backwards in this huge match.

OP is right, we can't rely on him anymore. SHOULD he stay this summer I can't see him staying as captain nor can I see him being first choice any longer. He's clearly too injury prone. You need your captain's fit all the time and he's sadly spending more time in the recovery room rather than the on the pitch.
 
It is a vicious cycle for him I am afraid. Either the medical, psychological and physiotherapy staff are absolute clueless or he has just contracted that horrible injury gremlin. I agree that we cannot rely on him anymore, still a great player and a great leader but it is what it is.
 
Vinnie is a great Captain and player but as many have already said . We can not rely On a player that gets so many muscle injuries . And the players who take his place are crap doesn't matter how we look at it, we might as well leave vinnie on can't do any worse.
 
He's been an amazing player and captain for us but he seems no nearer to conquering these injury problems and they have sent him to the best doctors all over the world and he still can't stick a leg in for a tackle without pulling a muscle. I'd hate his career at City to end like this but what else can we do if he keeps pulling up injured?
