Vincent Kompany - 2016/17 performances

Was thinking about Kompany earlier and realised we may have a dilemma. With Pellegrini, as soon as Kompany was fit he came into the team- even when it meant disrupting an increasingly solid Otamendi/Mangala partnership. I don't know if Pep will be the same.
We've seen before that Pep doesn't have a lot of time for injury-prone players, and if Otamendi and Stones are playing very well he may prefer to keep that going than break it up with Kompany, when he is likey to get inured again a month later. It's easier for a CB pairing to play well if they play together consistently.

That said, I'd love for Kompany to overcome his fitness issues. If that happens, it's then an issue of who to drop of Otamendi and Stones.
Going back to the original post.
Pep had not subbed him after 60 mins., wanted him to do a full game.
Kompany leaves the game before the end.
'Pep does not have a lot of time for injury prone players'.
The writing is on the wall.

That's Aguero and Silva fucked as well then.

I'm a vinsont fan but if we're paying someone 100k a week and they can only manage half the games then you're paying them 200k a run-out...Which may have folk pondering what the 200k alternatives are

I think Vincent will announce his retirement from football very soon. Sad I know but the man has become a liability to such an extent that his fitness issues leave him likely to leave the field of play before a game, ten minutes into a game or defending a corner at the end of a game. Its certain given the ruthlessness of the manager that his days at \city are numbered.

We don't have any facts at all as to what happened yesterday. Can we not write the guy off until we do please. He deserves our complete support. More info at the press conference tomorrow no doubt.

Based on that snapchat story I conclude that whatever happened is not career ending. That's good enough for me.
