for sure.
have we even heard anything from him as a representative of the club this campaign?
One interview when the China match was cancelled, they then used other players to launch the kits on the China wall inc nasri but didn't use the captain who was available ,very strange imho

Happy City Anniversary Vincent.
As much as I have been impressed with John Stones contribution so far, hes not had to deal with any physical monsters yet like big nose over the road or Andy Carroll and their like. I would much prefer to have our Captain back in the line up for these types of match ups as i'm not 100% convinced that Otters can do any better than Stones. Going to be interesting to see who Pep prefers in the back line once VK is fit.

Will it?

Well technically it has already been initiated seeing as people are giving him grief on here already, fueling the fire that will no doubt be ignited if he gets injured again/was linked away.

I for one don't have a bad word to say about him as a person, so I care not for your unfounded, bewildering accusations. Captain/Leader/Legend
When did we sign John Terry?

If, as somebody posted in the Joe Hart thread yesterday, it is true that Kompany along with Hart was one of the ringleaders of the campaign that got Mancini sacked then it might not be that strange. We'll just have to see what happens when he gets fit. If Pep starts playing him then all's well, if he doesn't then that makes things very interesting.

I tend to agree as I was told it was the players we think of as no trouble that gave the club the ultimatum us or the manager.
On the face of it ,it seems pep is taking total control of the dressing room.

Quite right too. If it's true then it explain's a lot about the Joe Hart situation. If it is true then Kompany or anyone else involved in that caper shouldn't ever play for City again. It should be a red line that is never crossed. There should ever only be one man in charge of the team and that should be the manager. I hope the higher management have also learnt their lesson about caving in to player power.

Seems to have gone under the radar but Jamie jackson reported this morning that Vinny was back training with the squad today. he said he "participated in a training session with the rest of the squad". Hopefully that means full training. Getting closer. Perhaps after the international week, he'll be back in the 1st team squad.
