This is going to sound batshit, I know when I was told it that was my first thought but..
One of the weddings I had at the weekend I got talking to a guest who owned an estate agents in wilmslow which dealt with players rentals.
He told me that Vinny had been caught having an affair with another City players wife.
He didn't say who, and I called him a lying c**t to his face. I still don't believe it but it goes to show how many rumours are out there. He seemed like the type who will repeat that story to anyone who will listen, a proper slimy bastard. But like anything that's repeated often enough people begin to think there's some truth.
I'm still sticking to my own reasonings as to his poor form.

I may sound trite and immoral but if sex with more than one partner improves his perfomance on the pitch then all power to him.

Except if there was any truth in the rumour the opposite is happening and his performances have turned to shit.

As I said for some unless you see it with your own eyes you don't believe it and even when you do sometimes you still don't.

I wouldn't have thought my best man at my wedding was screwing his neighbours wife for 2 years before he got sprung but there you go you never know your neighbour as they say.

Around 25 per cent of men cheat on their wifes or at least think about it and the rest cop out and watch porn instead which many say is still cheating only in mind but not in body (LOL).

Whether Vinny sees himself as Tiger Woods mark two with his addictions who knows and I don't care one way or the other.

It seems to me that you've made your mind up about something that is your opinion only and won't hear of anything else.

I see what you are saying I respect other opinions especially when they are not personal.

Replace him as captain and see how we go.

VK won't be part of our first Chumps League winning side but he may well if he stays injury free play a part in our improvement in the future under a new captain.

All sorts of rumours will abound especially in football clubs given that players spend a fair time away from families etc.

Its more rife in the entertainment industry especially in mainstream film and music but we all know the probability is that at least one current Man City player would have digressed while in a relationship but Wilt, Tiger, Kobe, Michael, Babe, Joe to name but a few had to do their
bit to keep sportsmen in the hunt.

Its part of the culture embedded in it since they started saying action etc.
