Violence at Euro 2016

Heightened security at the games is again just a joke statement, it is a real concern that supporters can bring in fireworks and flares. I just pray that that there is nothing more as it is clear the French authorities cannot handle security at the games.

Croatia is in full madness state these days. Political situation is utter craziness with society being divided almost in two same corrupted right and left halves and football being corrupted to the bones with added element of hate between north (Dinamo Zagreb) and south (Hajduk Split). Split, the second biggest town and with most passionate and followed club and best stadium in the country was ignored for 10-15 years for any national team matches as FA is completely controlled by Dinamo Zagreb's boss Zdravko Mamic (he was arrested recently for dozens of millions taken away from Dinamo zagreb and taxes not paid for players transfers). So, Hajduk's firm Torcida is doing their best to make their FA suffer, they paid almost 1 million EURO fines from UEFA in last 10 years, had one point deducted in EURO qualifiers and they are on the edge of being banned by UEFA so Torcida with some help of even Dinamo's fans who feel their club is taken away from them by Mamic, is pushing hard to make their national team banned. This was very expected to happen.

That was strange one minute all is cool then the riot police come out in front of fans, then it kicks off for no good reason, it's like it was planned and the police knew about it.

Yes, police knew about it. Croatian police announced it had info that it will happen and in exactly which minute it will happen and they obviously dent the info to French police.

From a bbc article.....says it all and only confirms what many suspected.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday called the fighting "a disgrace" but added that he did not "understand how 200 of our fans could beat up several thousand English fans".

I hope all the Welsh fans stick together when it invariably kicks off against the Russians. Hopefully all of the Cardiff v Swansea v Wrexham and North v South can be put to one side and they look after each other for a change.
