Would it not be more sensible to allow alcohol in the fan zones and ban it outside? keeps the fans penned in a controlable area and also denies them the chance to hurl glass bottles, stick some heavy benches and tables in also so they can't throw them.

Now you will have fans on the street with beer from the offy, ready made projectiles

What an embarrassing shambles this is. As much as a lot of the fans have acted like cavemen cunts the policing looks absolutely dreadful. Doesn't seem to be any organisation, any way to keep the fans separated and no idea as to what to do when they do come across trouble. Every time they see a scuffle it's just lob a load of tear gas and get the water canons in.

The British police get a raw deal but their crowd control is some of the best in the world at the moment along with the Germans.

What should happen is each country should be responsible for the well being of there fans as in stopping preventing any trouble before its gets out of hand

What a ridiculous decision. There hasn't been any trouble in the fanzones and this will just force even more people to find alternatives elsewhere. This whole tournament is turning into a mess.
