You have a right to cancel within 14 days, a 'cooling off' period.

Given the treatment of staff I'm hearing from here, am seriously thinking about not accepting myself. Not that any of the big companies are better in that respect, but feels a bit wrong to go with a company who are crapping on their staff .

Cancel in the cooling off period, will have to face the customer service merry go round I'm afraid.

I've missed the cooling off period unfortunately, I got too giddy about having a router that worked again I didn't bother to check the account, however as I didn't accept the terms and conditions how can they have put me on a new contract?

I don't know how that new process works with the clicking accept, well worth arguing the case though. Raise a complaint saying you just wanted your router issue fixed and have ended up in a new contract just to resolve it.

that was my plan, just wanted other opinions before I went ahead, I won't be doing anything by phone thats for sure, used to be good customer services when it was based in Scotland, now though :/

Don’t they have a centre in Wythenshawe anymore?

Years ago I was talking to a girl at their customer services with a very unusual first name and after a bit of chit chat it turned out we knew each other from drinking around Northenden back in the days.

It was the old Timpsons building and they were housed there when they were called NYNEX.

Still based at Concord House yes, but that makes no difference to how you cancel you can't just rock up there haha.

I've just cancelled and been offered sky movies, sky sports and all entertainment channels plus 1gb broadband for £53 thats with 2 boxes.
I got a very similar deal the other month , albeit for £58/month. I had to cancel first and then haggle over WhatsApp for a day or two but well worth it in the end.
