Viz

Worst thing was, I was driving. We all planned to attend a Smiths disco in some posh bar across from the arena on the docks from 11pm to 3am. So I thought (as a driver) if I necked 4 pints before the gig then by the time it got to 3am I would be fine to drive home some 6 hours later.
20 minutes later the gig is over and no way am I driving.... so had to remain alcohol free until the disco ended and even then recall nodding off down the M62 as all in the car (suitably pissed) had crashed out. Was a tough drive home.....
I was staying over in Warrington Travelodge as it was about £200 in the city centre, the Valuev v Haye fight was on with Haye running away for 12 rounds, so it didn't get any better.

If you had to get back to Warrington after then why not just go back home!
Had already been drinking and car was also in Warrington, stayed in Liverpool until 1130pm and got the train. There would have been no chance of a connection home after the gig with a Taxi from anywhere I could get to costing more than a £30 room.

The drunken Bakers is the best thing they’ve ever done. Beyond dark
I enjoyed it at first but then, as with many of the comic strips, they essentially spent years repeating the same story. That's my only criticism of Viz really: the comic strips are very, very repetitive.

My favourite bits are Letterbocks, Top Tips and the adverts.
