Does nobody understand the point. How did City allow a situation to develop that 3,000 tickets were sold to Poles without anybody realising!!!!

They did realise, hence the club moving fans.

Post of the thread so far.

great idea of MCFC to give the poles level 3 so they can gob on and chuck piss/coins etc on City fans below?

You have to be a complete fcking idiot to do something like this. Just because they are polish and want to come to a game doesnt mean they will act like animals.

Last season people on here was saying go on the west ham site and buy tickets in their end, everytime we play in europe there is talk of getting tickets in their end if we sell out. There is a thread about Blackpool with some buying tickets in their end.

If Blackburn had better support I wouldnt have been in their end at the 2001 promotion match along with at least 3000 other blues.

The club have acted after realising that more would turn up than expected so put em all in one place.

Moving seats is hardly a fcking major upheaval especially as the seat is now free.

The reason we don't sell out for games like this, is its a shit competition until the knockout stages. At least this might increase the atmosphere a bit!

i dont get this, so are the poznan fans just up in level 3 or are they in the SS and level 3? if both that's ludicrous.

Can anyone answer this? ^^ does anyone know?

Poznan fans are just in the SS.
Tickets went on open sale and a lot of Poles now living in the UK have bought tickets, as was their right (I can imagine the race relations board and Kick It Out if City or ticketmaster decided that anyone could buy a ticket as long as your name didnt end with ski).
MCFC have realised that there will be a lot of Polish people in the ground and have decided to try and keep them together in the East Level 3.
Tickets had already been sold to City fans in East Level 3.
These City fans are now having to re-locate their tickets and are getting a £20 refund.

I hope that has cleared things up a bit.

I am fully expecting quite a lot of trouble between rival Polish supporters in Level 3 next thursday, and at least City can turn to UEFA and say that they done everything they could (within the law) to try and stop it happening.

What a daft thing to say, these people aren't being forced to come to the game they wanted to come, how can it be City making money ? The fact that anyone who had a ticket in there is now getting £20 back is surely losing the club money.
