Wasting money on expensive items

Ring doorbells! Wtf is wrong with people? Nest to control your heating? Just turn it on ffs. Just have a doorbell, that works.

I know they're not expensive but it's along the same lines. We're all suckered in to buying this shit because someone on TV said so.

And cars, something that gets you from A to B, but people need the latest satellite enabled mp3 player and heated seats. 4x4s on two way roads, colours that match your jacuzzi..30 to 40k for a car that will cost more to run and maintain.... More road tax, insurances, fuel all costs £1000s more over the lifetime of the car

And then people moan about the energy prices going up buy £100s

Couple of reasons why you would need a 50k watch:

- elevate social standing
- Attract Woman despite your uglyness, lack of charisma
- Enjoy being a potential target for criminals
- compensating for small cock

On average most cars spend over 96% of their life parked up not being used, so you've bought a £40000 car (lets say roughly £5000 depreciation over the first year being generous), now worth £35000. You are only really getting £1400 worth of value out of it in the year, or to put it another way you are spending £33600 to have a lump of metal, rubber and glass sit on your driveway.
