Watford (A) Post Match Thread

Jesus will be moved on at this rate, his work rate and positioning is brilliant just can't score. The rest of the team is ruthless he needs to be the same.

Why stop there? i think B Silva gave the ball away in the 73rd minute.....
End of the day mate Jesus should be scoring at least one if them chances . Yes ok so everyone misses chances but it is getting alarming how frequent he is . And if you looked at peps face after that chance he was fuming. Always said we need 3 quality strikers and still think the same

First 80 minutes amongst our best this season, that last ten were sloppy. When gundogan came on we decided to stroke the ball about aimlessly which encouraged Watford. Should have been 5 or 6 before then. Think Pep will bollock them for that, knowing how much he hates wastefulness. Again, the first 80 were amazing.
Anyway, 5 points ahead. Over to the dippers to keep clinging on for dear life.

"I don't think we ever lose focus. We had chances to make it 3-0 and anytihing can happen. We managed the game pretty well. You can't win every game playing fantasy football." - Vincent Kompany

Quite. I sometimes think if City don't score six then people aren't happy. It's football. Teams can score, City can even hang on a bit. They won. I'm not sure what the issue is, City can't win by a street every game, it's a mad expectation.

You can tell he’s the kind of guy that thinks the fans should be thanking him and not the other way around lol. Definitely an ego about him. That ego will either make him or break him, but I think Pep realises that and has already used many strategies to get the best out of Leroy.
What a load of bollocks he always goes to fans to give his shirt-100% effort today and a brilliant footballer-that should be enough
