Watford (A) Post Match Thread

Dreadful last 15 mins. Gundogan came on and just practiced giving the ball away. Bernardo joined in after a while.
Have no doubt if we play like that against Chelsea we will lose.
 
The length of time our loss of composure lasted seems to be increasing every page of comments. What's next? "We were good for 5mins and awful for the rest of it"
 
9 games in December, played 2 won 2.
We started without Laporte, Mendy, DeBruyne, Sterling, Aguero. We'll reap the rewards of rotation later in the season.
Some of the football we played was beautiful, I loved it.
P.S. Scouser friend of mine (doesn't attend games obvs) tweeted "Come on Watford" when they scored. Makes it all the more beautiful.

Yeah, fairly sure he will not be happy at all.

He’ll be glad for the win, but won’t be happy we had to hold on like that at the end. So many things he has drilled in to this team failed in the last 15 minutes, and he’ll be working on that before the weekend.

Wasteful and a lesson to both the players and Pep that the game is not done and dusted at 2-0.

Good lad Delph but just like Zinchenko he is not good enough at the top level playing left back. If we progress in Europe and Mendy is out then we have not got the required quality in that position (Still not sure Mendy is) We only get away with it because we are so good in other areas but we wouldn’t against the very best sides.

Jesus needs to be more clinical but I thought his all round game was ok and he set the goal up. Bad miss when through though.

Very wasteful night all round but they should have scored too at 0-0. Good save from Ederson.

Bit of a scare but 3 more points in the bag and if we maintain this form we are on track for 104 points!

No Aguero, No De Bruyne no Sterling - still won!

It’s all good but we must make sure we kill the game off when we are so dominant.
