Routine win with a couple of lapses in concentration.

KDB, Zinchenko and Jesus ruled the roost.

Cancelo and Grealish were shite.

Laughing at some of these Cancelo comments. Yes he had a stinker today and we won 5-1 so he picked the right game to have a stinker in. I think he’s been immense for us.

Brilliant game, good team performance. Gabby aided and abetted by Kev were both different gravy. Rodrigo textbook thunderbastard. Disappointing to concede one but the goal difference looks a lot better too.

Great result. Amazing start in particular. Superb from KDB and Gabby. Raz and Grealish ..... well, yeah ..... they played like Raz and Grealish. Fanboys need not respond. We all have differing views on that subject and it ain't moaning - it's frustrating that the rest of the team are carrying Grealish. Jack was virtually absent for the whole 90 minutes. Not going to argue with anyone, just leave it there. I really hope the kid does better in future, but for now he was quite honestly a complete waste of a team place.

All in all, nice result and congrats to the boys who came for us through today. Great to watch but definite change in play after KDB departed. We looked quite flat after he went. Just shows how much we value and need Kev.

Anyway, onwards and upwards. We all know the Victims will win tomorrow, so no use hoping for something there. For now we did what we needed and I'll settle down for the Fury fight tonight with a bottle of wine and forget about it. We did it for today and there was plenty of superb play by us to be proud of.

Great job lads. Happy with that.

Well played City, a nice day for a stroll in the sunshine!

The rotation worked out well today and Pep got to give Kev and Rodri a rest.

Jesus' finishing and workrate was brilliant today, you could see his confidence rise after that first goal.
He laid down a marker for a place against Madrid, and as he's had excellent games against them before, he must start i think.

A special mention to Zinchenko aswell, he played well today and was a threat and i think he'll get the nod at left back against Madrid as he offers more, attacking wise.

Also what a cross by Kev for the second goal, he is on top form at the right time for us.

only thing scary was KDB going down after a tackle ? pep should have taken him off at half-time because we had the game won.

maybe jesus will start midweek ? he could be just what city have been needing, a forward with some luck in front of goal. sometimes a player can come in for 7 or 8 games and be the différance in getting us over the line
