We are going to win the league.

I'd normally agree, but as others have said, it's not like chasing the rags in 2011/12 when we only needed that one team to slip up (and we were playing really well back then, by the way). This time we need Arsenal, Spurs and Leicester all to drop the ball, when in reality all of those teams are playing better than us and are ahead of us.

It's not mathematically gone obviously, but realistically I think it is.

In 2011/12 we ended up on 89 points. We were playing very well as we were again in the season where we pipped Liverpool and ended on 86 points. This season we have been shit for most of the season and I cant see what is going to change that. It wont be Pellegrini that's for sure so we need to rely on the players to show that they really want it. Their heads might but I cant see it in their legs. Add to that the injury situation and I can see nothing but more of the same for the next month or so by which time it will be too late.

Signs were a bit better yesterday but only a bit and only after once again going behind.

We have lost 11 home games since the start of season 13/14!...That tells its own story. Teams are no longer expecting a defeat when they play us at our place. 14 points tossed away at home this season with 6 games still to go. IN our first title year we lost 2 in the second 5.

Points against top 6 teams is now 3 out of 24. That is frankly pathetic.

After these 2 results I still think we're in it only takes others to drop and us to go on a run, with kompany back were more solid and will have Arsenal at home, I think our season personally has dipped ever since the 0-0 away at villa , first few months of season I thought to myself Christ Werl walk the league this year but it just hasn't gone that way and we can only blame ourselves , I still think on our day we are the best team in the league by a long shot but it seems we've thrown it away, the comments from other teams fans/pundits about us is frustrating as well as all know we have it in us to blitz anyone. Onwards and upwards !! Keep the faith blues !!
We still have Arsenal at home.....so what mate? 2 weeks ago people were saying "we still have Leicester and Spurs at home". We lost them both mate, and our record against the top 6 is abominable. Having Arsenal at home means fuck all at this point- in fact, it's a negative, rather than a positive.

Not a chance with this clueless old fossil in charge. I don't think our top four spot is under threat but the teams above are set up better and seem to have more desire and hunger than us. It's the end for many in this team and they are playing like they know it.
