We are NOT Man City..

What's the feeling on simply "City"? It's lazy and can be confusing considering the other City teams like Swansea, Hull etc. Personally I usually just say "city" in regular conversation.

I actually think only us and the rags are known and recognised as city and united more than other teams who use it. Lineker regulary refers to us as just City on MOTD, but his own club leicester he always call leicester, same you never really hear stoke, norwich, swansea etc as just city(though their fans may use it locally), in fact I know some bristol city fans and they alway use the full name rather than just city to difference themselves from bristol rovers.

Don't much like the new website/twitter handle, but it's not such a big deal. Who cares about the club Twitter while we are sitting in the Etihad?

New badge is a big improvement. Tidy and respectful.

New kit is ghastly and hopefully spells the end of Nike.

New manager is the best in the world.

Jesus we love be to moan.

I thought I'd pop on here for a quick look. Forgot we'd still be finding stuff to Moab about.

That kit though... I was convinced it was a training top if not fake so yeah, I'm as bad.

Hate to be that guy, but since you're commenting on other posters' grammatical errors... You can multi-quote on here. No need to make three successive posts.
But I post as I read rather than making a mental note of which ones to get back to.

I was just helping him out. He's been using 'apart' when he means 'a part' for a few months and I'd hate him to use it incorrectly when doing something professionally or at school etc.

I wasn't being mean.

He's a god damn legend with the best song I've heard and when he kissed the badge I'll never forget it

Completely agree. The rumors of him leaving deliver much more of a blow than all the rebranding. I like the new badge, don't like the new kit but couldn't be arsed about the whole "Man City" thing on twitter or the website. I refer to our club as City every time but to be honest most of the fans of the sport in the States do refer to us as Man City. It is what it is.

Wasn't it keegan who was told by a fan in a
meeting of some sort, never call us massive and never call us man city

I guess that's a thing a lot of American blues do naturally? Interesting. One of my mates is a blue and we always refer to ourselves as City when we're mentioning them. Everyone else calls us Man City. Zaba not getting many games has made this a little easier for me personally. It's still hard to fathom him being gone though.

Just noticed that besides going from 'MCFC' to 'Man City' for the official home web address, the site domain of the official site has also changed from a UK domain to one registered in the US.

At the risk of sounding melodramatic, these broad strokes of rebranding: from the hideous new kit and the mildly dodgy new badge, to the club's internet presence, is rather unsettling.

It's a bit grim, frankly.

I always say Man City, and always have done. In actual fact I don't know anyone who says Manchester City.

I use just City in regular conversations and I'm okay when others use it also. But I agree, Man City should be the last possible option to use.
