I think you'll find it boosts the coffers of the teams in it too, AND if we weren't in it, we wouldn't have been winning league titles or cups either.

Everything is commercialised in sport including the Premiership, but when Aguero buried that goal we weren't getting the calculator out.

The Champions League is the ultimate benchmark of clubs in European competition and I'm getting a bit fed up of fans inventing excuses as to why ritual defeat in Europe doesn't matter. I want to see City succeed in England and Europe.

I want to see City measure ourselves against Messi and Ronaldo and Robben. I want to be part of that. If Man utd and Chelsea can do it, why can't we?

We will, that's why I'm patient, these things take time, we're clearly not anywhere near it yet, but who knows we could scrape through, and then see what happens.

Last season I was doing that, but I really can't see a City team without Fernandinho, Yaya Toure and Silva beating Bayern. They have just lost Alaba, but I don't see them resting many players as they are comfortable in their League. Bayern will win the competition. They got beat badly last season in this competition and the final is in Berlin. They wont relax.

Read earlier today that Silva maybe recovering well. That's the only positive I can find at the moment.

Bayern will win the competition. They got beat badly last season in this competition and the final is in Berlin. They wont relax.

They probably will, but they're group winners already, so no need to bust a gut in the last 2 games, much more likely if they think we have a chance of getting through they'll lose against CSKA, they won't want to risk meeting us later, and they have corru... UEFA people at the club.
