We can still win the league

I think to stand any chance of catching them, we need Chelsea to be losing games like tonight's. They'll be chuffed to bits with how things have gone. They've played away at Liverpool, not lost and still extended their lead at the top of the table. Though if we're being realistic and admit we probably won't win the league, you'd have to say tonight has been pretty good for us too. Now we need to do our bit tomorrow.

Personally I was happy with today's results. Don't care much about Chelsea as much. Care a lot more about the top 4. So the more points dropped by the Trio of Arsenal, Pool, Tot and the tags for that matter, the better.

We'll know in about 5 weeks if Chelsea is worth pursuing. For now, best to chase those clearly huntable.

Yes we can beat them at Stamford, it is not like we have not done it before.

Yeah, it'll be extremely difficult because they'll only need a draw and know exactly how to get it, but i don't think they're anything special really. They just play at a consistent, relentless level. At our best we're better than them.

The one thing that gives me hope is that now we are only relying on one team, Chelsea, having a slip up. That's not to say we don't have to worry about Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal - we do. But win tomorrow and we are mre or less level with those sides, and if we put a run together, we could overtake them.

But if we were far behind several teams, the chances of them all slipping up, would be slim. As it stands, Chelsea just need to unexpectedly lose a couple and we're right back in it.

No chance for City to win the league. If Chelsea beat Arsenal on Saturday, they will clinch the title.

I will be ok with a top 4 finish and above United minimum but that's not to say that's what we should be aiming for or happy with... with a mentality that the leagues gone and happy to scrape top 4 we probably wont make top 4. No what we should be aiming for is to get as close to Chelsea's points tally as soon as possible and who knows we might just end up with a slight chance before the end of the season to pip them to it, if not fair play to them.

I think the key to us winning the league is Kompany - and that includes winning at the bridge.

Vinny is the only player in the league who Costa is scared of, and has had him well and truly in his pocket in the past. He is the catalyst of everything clicking in our defensive play and although we have 'leaders' on the pitch, he's the only true leader and captain we have. He's a monster.

Vinny, stay fit and we can win every competition we're still in. He's that important.

He could even pump a bit of confidence into our Claudio...
