I think the key to us winning the league is Kompany - and that includes winning at the bridge.

Vinny is the only player in the league who Costa is scared of, and has had him well and truly in his pocket in the past. He is the catalyst of everything clicking in our defensive play and although we have 'leaders' on the pitch, he's the only true leader and captain we have. He's a monster.

Vinny, stay fit and we can win every competition we're still in. He's that important.

He could even pump a bit of confidence into our Claudio...

agreed. the key of City winning the title is depend on Kompany fitness.
without him, City are leaderless, and useless at the back.
after tonight, there are 15 games to go. plenty of time.
City need to find consistency and solidity at the back.
i will give up hope once Kompany get a new long term injury.

Even if we get maximum 16 wins from 16 wins Chelsea can afford 4 losses from 16 games. Not going to happen this season mate. Lets just enjoy the football and our side getting better and a run in the cups - we don't have to win the league every year. Quite happy with 3 every decade - we can do that!

No chance for City to win the league. If Chelsea beat Arsenal on Saturday, they will clinch the title.

Win at West Ham and we're level on points with 'fantastic' Liverpool and 1 point behind 'irresistible' Spurs.So much for a club in crisis and whose coach is a 'fraud'.

Spare a thought for Arsenal. On level points with Spurs, ahead of Liverpool and yet supposedly in meltdown. Actually don't spare a thought for them, it's hilarious.

We have to beat the renters at their midden first and foremost.

After that we'll probably still have to win EVERY game and hope that they hit a tricky patch.

Unfortunately we missed our chance over the past two games in only picking up one point. Win both of those games and we would have the chance to move within 5 points with a win tonight...ifs buts and maybes

Just to put it into context

Win tonight and we will be 10 points behind with 15 games to play

If we went on an amazing run, say 13 wins 1 draw and 1 loss from those games , that would get us another 40 points.....

Chelsea would then just need 30 points to win the title , given their much better goal difference. We need them to lose at least 5 games from their remaining games, They have lost 3 games up to this point.

Try and pick 5 losses out of this lot, obviously 1 would have to be to us

Done! Seriously though, on an off day they could lose or draw against anyone. If we can draw with Middlesborough at home, so can they. Particularly with teams starting to battle relegation. Its not over yet. Any of the top 6 still have a chance. Some more than others.
