Keep the faith

If we were going to Chelsea with this side I'd be extremely confident. As it is, I have a bad feeling about this game. Fucking frustrating.

We might finish second in the league.

"Drifting towards mediocrity".

Some of your heads have gone, you're total bottle merchants. No wonder there's no atmosphere when we're up against it if this is how you lot think.

Spot on. Without injuries, were a top quality team, best in the prem. Yesterday, only one of the city's spine was fully fit, which was silva. Some posters seem to have short memories, we've been in far worst positions than we are at the minute.

Ultimately it is injuries and absences that have cost us. Pellegrini made one error that cost us points in my opinion against Burnley but other than that it's been the absence of key players all season that have set us back and now Yaya being away is once again setting us back.

I think you have to credit Chelsea so far too. They may not be exciting to watch but they are efficient especially at home.
10 wins out of 10 so far at home with 8 clean sheets and only 3 goals conceded. That is impressive. Unusually for us, our home form is poor by our standards and that is what could ultimately cost us.

Whatever happens, this is what makes this league the best. No one team is guaranteed to win it in any year. You need an element of luck with injuries as Chelsea have had so far (This could turn), an element of luck with officials (which we haven't had) and an element of good fortune in general (we got this with the easyish four games we had with no striker but had it against us having to play Chelsea and Arsenal without Yaya).

As we know, nothing is over until it is over but if we come away from Chelsea, beaten, it will take a monumental effort from there with us having to win virtually every game.

If we win, it's as you were and game on.

Our best 1st eleven when everybody is available will be : HART - ZABS , KOMPANY , MDM , CLICHY - NASRI , YAYA , FERNANDINHO , SILVA - BONY , AGUERO and i would back that team against anything in the premiership , it aint over till fat frank sings.

We gave up when they scored their second today. Showed a very un-City like, unprofessional "oh well, we're getting fuck all here" attitude. There was 17minutes plus stoppage time to go.

25 minutes plus stoppage time.

Poor attitude from the team from the outset.

Made a very average Arsenal side look better than they are.

West Brom's draw against Everton gives us an indication just how poor an attitude our side has at present.

Its like they believe that without Yaya they are half the side than with him around.

We are much better than the side has shown despite the injuries but in saying that clearly some of the current line up need to be moved on and superior replacements bought in.

We have nothing to worry about,we are at our best coming back from the brink, last season we got stronger in second half and feel sure we are capable of going on another long run, preferably starting against Chelsea.
