Or they could drop a couple of points against sides that are hungry for relegation survival.Millwallawayveteran1988 said:We could quite easily be 8 behind by next Sunday!

Spot on. My hysteria got the better for me for a second! I've no idea what will happen. And unless Mourinho is available I've no doubt Mancini will get another shot at it next season. Still, if we do finish 9 points behind the rags it'll be a disappointment of epic proportions after the way we started the season. But as they say, the table doesn't lie and finish where you deserve to finish.
What makes you so confident of that? Anything can happen in football.greasedupdeafguy said:they wontMasonicity said:Or they could drop a couple of points against sides that are hungry for relegation survival.Millwallawayveteran1988 said:We could quite easily be 8 behind by next Sunday!

I recently said that it's impossible to say whether RM is here until the summer, Xmas or indefinitely. To attempt to second guess what'll happen next, what the 'Special One' is planning or, most importantly, what the owners think is impossible. I'm all for wild speculation and rabid opinion in the name of BM entertainment, but I do wish that some posters wouldn't get so self-important about it all [pot and kettle, I know].
Sarcasm aside though, these lesser clubs that are fighting for survival aren't going to let United walk all over them. Their schedule might seem easy but it's a lot harder than ours. I'd rather we face the likes of Arsenal or United than the relegation teams. At least the top sides won't park the bus and will give us a chance to play proper football.greasedupdeafguy said:Its man unitedMasonicity said:What makes you so confident of that? We virtually finished 2nd last season (only missed out on GD).
Absolutely not. We finish 9 points or more behind them and Mancini will get sacked. 100%.
