we need a new stadium...

Oi, Skidmark, or whatever your name is, our OLD Stadium had a bigger capacity than your current ground, and we outgrew that, so mayeb your the one who should do soem research before trying to brag.

BTW, your new stadium is just a white Emirates, though scaled down, I'm sure (so you can still claim to "sell out").

Now then, it's time for you to go, I hear Harry's got some knock off gas fireplaces...

So I suppose it´s been the working class regulars churning the enormous turnover at Hot White Lane is it ? Where were you all a few years back? Backed by some very dodgy financiers and the nouveaux riche - can you get a pint of bitter round Walfamstow these days? FACK OFF!!

I wouldn't mind if we fitted revolving seats, like walzers. If were playing bad you can spin your seat around instead of walking out or booing. Or when the game hits that dead patch half way through the second half and the atmosphere is like the local swimming baths, you can spin your seat indiscriminately while looking at a floodlight.

'not my fault' are you a scouser by any chance?

My mum is and her side but I was born in Urmston why? Thats why on FA Watch my old dear has registered and put Manchester City/Liverpool as team supported (god bless). My old man was born a stones throw away from Maine Rd hence me becoming a blue.

When a club is selling out for every single game often months in advance, that is when it needs a new or bigger stadium, Manchester City have no need for a new stadium at the present time, that could obviously change in the future if Manchester City are successful as a team.

See below .......

Tottenham's (planned) £400m 60,000 stadium complex.

"Months in advance"??????? Your link shows Spurs are sold out for the next 5 or so weeks. Well done. But then again, your stadium only holds 36,000. That's what was deemed too small for us several years ago having just suffered our worst ever 10 years.

And I like the plans for your new stadium. In fact I really like them. But, personally, if I was in your position I wouldn't be going on another team's forum to brag about the fact that my team plans to build an identical, but smaller, version of our local rival's stadium.

Oh, and if Spurs make $70 million profit per year, I'll show my arse in Burton's window. That's a 100% safe bet by the way, as your link has precisely fuck all to do with profit. Nice try though.

Well done mate you couldn't have been wrong on more of your points if you tried, our next home game which is not sold out is v Wolves on 12/12/2009 and tickets are not for sale at the present time, so you got that wrong for a start.

Maine Road held 35,150 from 1995 onwards, and it certainly wasn't too small for Manchester City as you wrongly claimed, it was apart from your last year there, generally many thousands under it's full capacity, in fact City averaged in the mid 20 thousands for a number of years, so basically you are talking bollocks aren't you mate.

Manchester City were in deep financial trouble and had a crumbling old ground, and they were only too happy to take up the offer from Manchester Council, of a nice new council owned stadium.

Also if you had cared to read my post properly it quite clearly stated "operating profit" so I was indeed correct in saying that only 5 clubs in the world have a bigger operating profit than Tottenham Hotspur.

Do carry on though wont you !!!

I commented perfectly correctly on a screenshot YOU provided. I apologise for not bothering to go on your official site to check it out for myself, but then some of us just aren't as obsessed as others about football clubs that have fuck all to do with us. And by your own admission, the Wolves game in 7 weeks is not sold out. Could you please explain to me how that equates to "selling out months in advance"?

The simple fact that we have exceeded our old capacity for every league game since moving to COMS would suggest that Maine Road wasn't big enough for us. Can your simple southern mind comprehend that or is it too complicated for you?

Bollocks.

Operating income actually, but yes I misread that bit, for which I apologise profusely. It's all irrelevant though, really. Whilst you celebrate the fact that your club generated an operating income of £42m, I'll celebrate the fact that our owner just made that much in the time it took me to type this response.

I will do thanks.

Seldom have I seen an opposition fan so tedious and patronising on a City forum. You know NOTHING about the financial state of this club in the 1990s or now. I do, and normally am happy to debate it with anyone, but not a smug, ignorant know-it-all like you. In my opinion, this board would be improved if you were to leave and never come back.

What the fuck is a spurs supporter doing on here ??? The mind boggles.

As for him lording it over selling out one of the smaller grounds in the premiership, you really couldnt make it up.

As for their new super stadium, I would wait until it is built before going on other forums and cock waving.

The main reason for Spurs profits is that they procured a ridiculous sponsorship deal with a betting website, which cost people jobs at Mansion over mis-management. Right place right time. You wont be getting another deal anywhere near that scale.

Due to small capacity it also allows you to charge ridiculous ticket prices - and you mugs still pay it. And then to top it all off, your wage cap means you are one of the lower payers in the league which will prevent you ever challenging the top 4. This also means whenever you have any decent players, they will move elsewehere to bigger clubs ( Berbatov Carrick etc etc ) and will stop you buying top players that bent arry wants ( Santa Cruz / Barry etc etc ).
